I have a suggestion for using excess airship oil. Put an Pact Airship Memorial in Lion’s Arch. Once a day players offer up 250 Airship oils to keep the flame burning and get 250 karma back.

How about adding additional tabs to the Ley-Energy Converter that allow you to trade in Airship Oil/Auric Dust/Ley-Line Sparks for a variety of things similar to the map currencies?

Some other use for airship oil would be good. It’s becoming the bloodstone dust of HoT.

Maybe an airship oil eater?

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

Seriously. I have enough of the stuff to kill every living thing in all of the seas and oceans of Tyria.

We could have a greased skritt competition. Think those rats are slippery now? Oh ho ho…just wait till they’ve been rolled around in some airship oil.

I’m sure a few of them will stand around babbling about how shiny they are so those will be a free point for some people.

Really? I have way too many ley line sparks, nearly as much auric dust, and almost no airship oil. I’ve been running around VB to get more oil so that I can make more fulgurite and use less space storing ley line sparks.

Why do you have so much more airship oil than the other two?

Or use it to invest in a deep-fryer and have an Asura cook out?

That’s probably going too far though I suppose. Poor little rat-goblins…

Airships are like the dairy cows of the skies. You just gotta learn which ones can be milked.

I have tons of auric dust and airship oil because I do AB and VB events a lot. Conversely, I pretty much never do anything in TD and only occasionally do DS.

I’m not sure. Maybe it has to do with OP playing a lot in Verdant Brink. Just a guess. I do know it has nothing to do with OP playing in Auric Basin, as that place doesn’t really give Airship Oil. I know you can farm Noxious pods for them in DS though— hate it when that happens.

So that brings something else up. Assuming you can make fulgrite because you have all 3 of those thingies, is it worth it to make the jeweled damask patch?

Until then, I wish I could name tabs, because I’d totally file it under “the stupid things I’ll never use but I won’t delete because I’m scared they’ll actually be useful” tab.

They could give one ecto a day. That would make people grind like crazy on the HoT maps to get enough for one ecto a day. Plus it’s not enough to kill the economy.
