If Anet does a 1 beta weekend per month thing then we may only have 1 or 2 beta weekends left after 3rd beta which means Druid and Forge will only have 1 or 2 betas to be tested and adjusted.

the only 2 left are the Forge and Druid

we all know their weapons, and their names.

and speculation about their themes are likely to be pretty spot on.

so the hype for these isn’t going to be much….(would have been better to get them over with before the unknown ones)

of coarse…..if Anet descides to do a 180, punch me, and reveal ranger isn’t getting a staff, but a off-hand sword, main hand dagger, hammer, rifle, or shield..
then that would be the biggest surprise ever xD

as for Forge, hype wise there isn’t much anticipation

but demand wise, there is a steady amount as Engineers have been suffering due to the massive ammount of reflects, invulnerabilities, and blocks that prevent alot of engineers skills (engineers lack the mobility and melee to counter mesmers….unless u got a flamethrower in which case BURN MESMER BURN)

so engineer hammer and moving drones would actually kitten off the community if Anet changed it to something else (as its something engineers could really use)

so yeah, final stretch.

give my Engineer rifle 1 skill an optional animation change plz <.< (optional change. like a gem store one so i can aim my rifle. not shotgun my sniper)

Kinda disappointing considering how good the momentum has been, but since they’re not going to be in the next beta anyways, I guess it doesn’t particularly matter. =/

I doubt there’ll be one today. The announcement for this weekend’s beta confirmed neither druid nor forge will be involved, so I suspect they’ll wait until after the beta it done to reveal either. They’d rather people are fired up to try up out an elite spec that is available rather than pining for the one that’s just been unveiled but not available.

Next week is a better bet I reckon.

It’s apparent quite a few who have engi and ranger as their main feel disappointed thus far. Give them some love! Idk what I’d do if my main was last. Probably explode. xD

There will be only 3 BWEs total. That means the one next week, and only one more after. There may, however, be other kinds of beta tests, like the impromptu Revenant one, but nothing official has been announced about that.

I sincerely hope forge is not the name its as if they got halfway a good name and thought lets stop here. Forgemaster would make so much more sense.

Sad, but only a little surprised to not see a new teaser image this week. I’ve already decided to focus on my engineer for HoT, but it would be really sweet to know exactly how the Forge will play.

I was fully expecting no teaser / elite spec reveal this week, since whatever they revealed wouldn’t be usable in the beta anyway, leading to a lot of disappointment. Plus, the POI this week will probably be focusing, at least in part, on the beta itself, like last time. And elite specs take a long time to go through fully, so it wouldn’t leave any time for that.

That’s really not fair to say as there has to no matter what be 2 last reveals.

Revenant was tested the most for obvious reasons being new. It’s very possible anet is more prepared with them and feels they needed the least testing as they were pretty much ready before other classes even. No need to be a negative Nancy

Zommoros is the Forgemaster. Making every single Engineer able to snatch that Profession would be an Insult to him.

You have to live with the fact that you and your buddies will be Djinn-Minions and not Forgemasters themselves.

Druid won’t get Hammer. The Spec is called Druid and not Bunny Thumper :-D

Colin did say (in the pax stream) that this coming weekends is one of two last ones before the release. So we only have one more beta weekend left after this weekends, which means we only get to test Druid/Forge only once.
