Before I was able to mine in both guild halls, now only in one.
Plus my drop rates have been epicly low, from 1-10 a day to 1-3 a day…

Seems like it, though this hasn’t been the case for too long, so I can’t say it’s a nerf on the crystals too. I used to get 1-2 if any at all while other people got 1-10. Then a few weeks later I got many crystals a day. It really varies alot. Plus it’s really only 10+ when you get the rare occurrence of 10 in one go.

The mining in only one guild hall is possibly so people don’t just guild hop to get the most harvests done, (I believe it was per different tiers of the nodes) rather than joining a guild for guild reasons. At least that’s what I think.

Personally I don’t think it’s too big of a deal. Though it can be pretty annoying if you want all the weapons and guild armor and such.

You can still harvest both Guild Halls. Just make sure you have different levels of synthesizers. This doesn’t mean the upgrade to a higher tier of materials, but a higher tier of synthesizers. If the synthesizer upgrade is the same in both guilds you cannot harvest in both halls. We upgraded our synthesizers yesterday and now we can harvest in our allied guild again.

Either you are lucky or I am unlucky.

I always get 1-2, rarely 3 and only once a month 10. That hasn’t changed since HoT Release.

Yeah, my rates have continued to be roughly the same, though it’s not like I have hundred of harvests myself for any really good data. I still get the 10’s on occasion, not really any more or less than I had before, closer to the release.

Also seconding what Frizz said. I can still harvest nodes in 2 guild halls I’m in, with one at the second to last upgrade (8 lumber/ore, 2 plant harvests each) and the other a step behind (6 lumber/ore, 2 plant harvests each).

Exactly so. In effect, the timer on each node is based on the node and the level, nothing to do with the GH. Yesterday, I got both crystal types from the respective halls.

I’ve never gotten more than 2 a day, and many days I’ve gotten 0. I haven’t noticed a change.

How many nodes does your guild have? How many charges do you expend per day? If (like one of my guilds), you only have access to two nodes (consuming 3 pick charges, 1 sickle), 0 in two weeks seems likely to me.

I can mine twice fully, and I go to two guild halls for that, so yeah… they screw up something.

Yep. Mined them for 2 weeks to no result, I can mine the node twice, and I can mine two nodes (2 GH). They definitely decreased the rate you get the crystals.

Um, no, the evidence is limited. Most people seem to be saying they are getting some most days; only a few are getting few. The OP’s complaint was going from 10 on some days to “only” 1-3. So far, I only count one person saying they aren’t getting any.

There’s a lot of potential reasons one person might be seeing fewer, unrelated to ANet changing the rate (intentionally or otherwise).

If you remain convinced there’s an issue:

• Move your existing crystals to inventory; take a screenshot.
• Immediately farm the ore; take another screenshot, including how much ore you got.
• Keep it up for 10 days.

If you are still 0 crystals after 10 days, create a support ticket and work with support to troubleshoot.

Got one after reset. Working as intended. Or at least that’s what is known.
