Gonna preface this by saying this might not be the proper area for this, but i figure i might as well place it here since it seems relevant?
I just wanted to give a huge huge shout out to the verdant brinks map i was on last night at about 5:30 PST you guys were amazing.
To the 3-4 different commanders who joined me(Commander Ember Howltooth), and the many many different mentor tags(Thank you all for patiently explaining over and over again the way the events worked for those new to the map!) as well as the players who followed, thank you all for listening, and helping each other out to get tier 4 both day and night a multitude of different times without fail! I dont know if we got everyone all three of their coat boxes, but i know we got quite a few filled out.
That entire time was probably the most fun ive had in awhile in the GW2 world, and you all made it happen! <3

But, but… What about “the new maps are so hard, there are no people there,
nobody is cooperating, people not helping at all and zones will be dead in 1 week” drama? How can all these forum doomcryers be wrong?

That sounded like fun. After Halloween is over I’m hitting the new maps hard. I hope that this sort of coordination is still happening. Glad you got your coats. I know some people have been unhappy about how hard it can be to get them.

I was one of them
I just bought a tag two days ago and it was the first time ive ever commanded…well anything, and honestly, that was the most people ive seen in that zone, working towards the meta event since release of HOT, hopefully there are more maps like that one though

Those coats are the reason i bought my commander tag xD

I can honestly only see the amount of people coordinating these maps go up, as people figure out how to do them properly, quickly and easily.

We completed the day time events so quickly on the last run through we had nothing to do for 15-20 minutes but wait!

Gave the mentors in our map a chance to run mastery and hero points too!

In theory, coordination should improve.

a) because halloween is over and players like yourself will be giving time over to new maps
b) other ppl are rapidly completing story and exploration stuff, which means more time for meta.

In theory of course……
