Did you activate the item before getting hit by the beam?

Yeah. And it seems I have the same problem with golem’s light.

I thought they fixed that thing. I had to not only spam the devil out of the item, but had to keep my inventory bag open while I was doing it.

Yes it is bugged. Be sure you have your inventory weapon. Also, try to use the item right before you get hit. Overall I think it might be the best collection out there. Took me 4 hours to get a precursor that got me like 350 profit on the TP.
