It’s a minor speculation but I think that the teaser images of the elite specializations will form a full figure at the end, like the profession’s page on the gw2 website.

I tried to combine them but I’m not good at this! XD (Also I think there is an empty space in the picture created especially for the revenant)

Maybe both images will be available.
You have a good eye, I bet that is exactly what will happen and Revenant will be where you added in the 1st image.

Since the chronomancer I had noticed a similarity with the mesmer norn… when the next specialization will be announced I will try to update the image!

the position of Revenant on that image is pretty obvious, so you are most likely right… but what is your point with the second one? you mean that specializations images will create a new version of the current image? I think it’s possible as it’s new and they will most likely want to show newest content on the website game info

Yes Rytlock is the 1st revenant, but that doesn’t mean a charr needs to be the race in the image. In the HoT page the revenant concept image in of a human.

Even if Anet didn’t already have this planned internally, I hope they would do it, just because the art is both gorgeous and kitten, and this is the perfect way to showcase it!

Doesnt matter how you will try to turn it around, youre at lost position. Revenant is a charr profession just like engineer. Its is brought by a CHARR. FIRST REVENANT IS A CHARR. Accept it or perish

not OP, but this is an interesting point – the revenant elite spec is the first not to use the same character as their base art – we’ve got a very differet looking norn/sylvari (depends who you ask) to the human art, so there’s a little confusion on that one.

Whether it’s a Norn or a buffed Sylvari, I think the herald looks a bit too big next to the others (just look at how small the Tempest appears in comparison).

you have to remember he’s sitting there, though whatever he’s sitting on is obscured by the thief. if they lowered him to the floor, he’d be behind the thief. there’s no good answer.

When we’ll know the next specialization (thief please XD) I’ll re-adjust the picture! (the herald is a bit too big because I tried to cover the empty space and i believed it was a norn ^^)

That_Shaman just data-mined the headpiece from the data-mined “ninja-like thief with staff artwork” and it says “dare devil”.

That is a torch the warrior is holding people.

This is a very smart comment, because following your amazing logic, warrior, elementalist, mesmer, necromancer and ranger are human professions because the first of these were humans. Accept it or perish, or whatever.

This looks nice, good work! Better than what is at the official website, to be sure.

I suspect something like this picture will be a centerpiece of their presentation at Twitchcon.

The only problem is with the placement of the Daredevil and Herald. The colors are too similar making them somewhat indistinguishable from each other.

Regardless, nice job; I like it. =)

move the herald up and to the right a bit, shift the reaper and the scrapper right with him, and move the daredevil to the bottom left semi in front of the scrapper?
