Hey guys, so I am working towards getting the north wind collection to unlock the ascended warhorn for my tempest.

However I have noticed that it states I need a machine warhorn, which it states should be obtained from completely unlocking the elite spec! Although when we complete the elite spec we actually get a shoulder piece, and not a machined warhorn.

So is this collection wrong for the tempest, or am I missing something here? I looked on several of the other ascended weapon collections for the elites available and they all show that it is the piece of armour you obtain, that is required.

Also note the last item required on the list is also a Machined Warhorn, which states is created from plated weapons purchased with crystaline ore in dragons stand.

I have the same… let’s call it problem.
I have completed the tempest mastery track on my former ele, so I’m a full grown Tempest now. I also received the Tempest shoulder item but no machined warhorn whatsoever.
I think this might be a mix-up of items there that hopefully will be fixed soon-ish.
I’m sure we’re not the only ones experiencing this so there might be some fixing going on already.

Okay, so ive just checked the tempest track, the chronomancer track and the daredevil track and in the tempest track there are two machined warhorns, the one on the bottom right is correct but the one two places to the left is wrong, it says it it unlocked after completely finishing tempest, but it says its a machined warhorn. On the other specializations it says the same thing “unlocked after completely finishing the specialization” or something like that. But instead it shows the piece of equipment you receive you get when you finish the track. And it also still has a machined weapon, eg the chronomancer with their shoulderpiece and they also have a machined shield, tempests get two machined warhorns but one of them is fake and should be replaced with the tempest shoulderpiece.

When i received my shoulderpiece i picked the stats, got the skin and deleted since i had a better shoulderpiece, so if this issue is fixed, will i still unlock it in the collection? or will i have to make another elementalist and max out tempest just so i can get it again? I really hope not :/

Must be a bug in the hint in the Tempest collection.

Machined weapons are gained by completing a collection. You open said collection by purchasing a Plated weapon (so if you need the Machined Warhorn, buy a Plated Warhorn).

Plated weapons can be purchased after completing the Dragon’s Stand meta event. Each weapon costs 150 Airship parts, 150 Aurillium, 150 ley-line crystals and 3 Reclaimed weapon parts (gained by salvaging 3 Rare-tier Reclaimed weapons).

Do note that one piece of the Machined collection states it’s obtainable from Noxious Pods, but is actually gained from opening the Dragon’s Stand meta event chest at the end (so you need to complete the meta twice). Also a place of power is a Hero Point that only needs communing, and the weapon part needs to be OILED (can be purchased from the TP).

Yes the Tempest collection shows the machined warhorn like all collection do and we know how to obtain the machined weapon….that is not the problem.

The problem is that instead of the Tempest Shoulder piece being accepted in the collection (for fully unlocking the elite spec) it shows an image of a machined warhorn and states this is obtained from fully unlocking the tempest spec.

So we have the machined warhorn showing TWICE for our collection. But I have not played my tempest in a while to see if obtaining the warhorn will complete both sections, as map completion is bugged for my tempest. Just waiting on the fix.

Ok, its a mistake. But the collection still works? Did someone already unlocked The North Wind?
