Somebody is rather bitter me thinks. It is “special” because only lucky people get to participate :P

isn’t it luck no mater how the beta was going to work anyways, if the goddess bless you then be extra lucky i guess, but man, some quick time, i thought it be a day of testing, that timing sorta right in the middle of my work day, lol.

You farmed 40 hours in order to get a chance to essentially work for Anet by testing an unfinished product for free?

They’ll probably reveal pre-purchases the week after this beta ends. They wouldn’t want to reveal it now because pre-purchasing wouldn’t include this one and people would complain on both sides (not getting in vs farmers wasting their time).

If they want to launch this year, pre-purchasing needs to be revealed within the next month. Any later and they’re moving into a winter/2016 release.

No email for me yet but I have the portal so I’m sure it’s coming. I must wail and gnash my teeth and tear my hair, though, as I generally can’t be at the computer after 2:30 pm Pacific on Tuesdays ><

I should manage the first session. I will definitely miss the middle session. Perhaps I can beg off of the full movie watching night to join the third.

You both might still get an invite if you’ve signed up to the Newsletter (I believe you have to use the same email address as what’s connected to your Guild Wars 2 log on though)

We will, at least for most of the betas.
Pre-purchasing gives access to the BETA EVENT WEEKENDS.
Beta event weekends != closed beta.

I still have not got the email. This doesn’t concern me since they already said the email isn’t required if one has a portal, which I do.

I’m just wondering if any of you who have gotten the email have got a beta slot in your character creation screen yet. If so, then I shall be a tad concerned as I do not at this point have that either and for the stress test it showed up well in advance.

I got the e-mail almost immediately, but didn’t check for the slot. I did just now, and yes, I do have a beta slot.

I see the beta slot, I just wish they allow us to make our class now to save a little time, making it later, lol.
