I’m still a bit noob with this event, but I understand the basics. What I don’t understand is, why don’t we try to kill all the mobs in the blighted tower part after we kill the Preserver?

They keep spawning and it gets increasingly difficult to get to the next preserver. I’m the one that has trouble getting through the throngs of mobs after the preserver is killed. Any tips?

I never target mobs, only the preserver. But after a few preservers, there are more and more mobs. Would it take so long to kill them all?

All the mobs are not killed because theres little time to do it. You have to kill the preservers or the boss will respawn and the most effective way to do it is by running circles. You can assign some people to each pod, but most people wont listen.
If you have problems getting out of the mobs, try landing some AoEs on the preserver and continuing your circle. If everyone gets just few hits in, preserver will die.

Sounds good. I’m afraid to use aoes … don’t want to hit other mobs, but I’ll try that and keep moving.

Because the timer of preserver respawn time is very delicate.

Usually is EXACTLY one circle rotation before the next one in the same location spawned again.

If you stay for mobs for even 5 additional seconds, it’d be too late for next preservers, and boss will revive and you have to start over again.

i think a lot of people havent noticed that under the platform of the boss there are more pods and preservers. i have never seen a map destryoing those and my guess is that if you do that much less normal mobs would spawn, maybe none. the thing is: with the circling tactic you dont have to do that because it works and nearly no attempt i was doing in the last 2 weeks was failing. maybe it would work to split the circling zerg in two parts, one up and one down… but again, why try to fix something that isnt broken.
