As I read the FAQ about the new and first expansion pack for Guild Wars 2. I am noticing things that are coming up in my own way. Firstly, allot has been learned in the years of the game. I like this immensely. Making PvP worth going to, making exploration as vibrant and breath taking to see those views, the inclusion of things that were never their before. I also like that their are things coming back. Particularly guild halls. I did enjoy those from the first games of Guild Wars. Though when things that do come back, such as things that made a game a success, and contributed to a thing like Guild VS. Guild battles, companies make it seem that it is a new thing to players that have stuck with ArenaNet for years. Yes, their are the differences, but it isn’t new. Just a different wrapping for the same thing.

When the expansion comes, I do wish it a success. But as far as charging a new game fee of the normal $49.99. I would hope that this isn’t going to be something that they intend to do. It’s an expansion not a stand alone game like the first three were. I can see $20 minimum may be even top out at a $39.99 retail.

I know I’m not any one special this is just my opinion from some one, like most people, that have played this game since the first one released so many a year ago and still enjoy it to this day.

Thank you ArenaNet for a game well done and I do hope for a continued success.

I think they are going to milk it for whatever they can get, and due to the excitement in the forums I think the price just went up. But I agree a price equal to the original purchase price doesn’t make sense and I think they would lose sales.

If there are actually more things that the player base wants added and have been asking for quite some time now they may be be able to go to $30.
