Guild Wars 2

I decided to get the expansion after-all, and I’m not disappointed. I had some hero points to unlock part of the Berserker, managed to flip an old monocle I had for the welding torch so my warrior looked presentable, and off I went! The story and pacing are excellent, the fights are reasonably challenging (finally!) and the complexity of the maps is just right.

I’m super glad to actually be able to work toward my Berserker spec while I play, instead of having it all handed to me immediately and being done with it. Speaking of Berserker, I thought it would be rubbish in honesty, but it’s actually superb. Being able to deliver ranged piercing damage on my sword is absolutely quality and the tweak to the longbow finisher works brilliantly when fighting large groups of advancing mobs where you can’t wait for them to all be within the circle before opening fire.

Anyway, thanks for delivering ladies and gents, it has been worth the wait and your hard work shows!

Agree with OP, Anet really delivered on HoT. Loving it.
