I like that there won’t be a level increase, and i like that i don’t have to run a gear treadmill. That’s why I quit WoW.
The game has serious balance issues right now, but ideally this game is based more on skill than outgearing enemy players. And I like that.

Now onto your post.
It really comes down to the design philosophy of GW2, and in particular HoT. GW2 doesn’t want to be a gear-treadmill (think like WoW where with each new raid you need to replace all your equipment with a new tier). In essence doing so invalidates all the time and effort you’ve placed into gearing up your characters (just makes some ascended armor and you’ll know what I mean).
Also GW2 wasn’t designed to make you a god that can one short low level NPCs. That’s why they have the ability to scale your level down, although primarily this is so you can play with your low level friends (something that other MMOs don’t really facilitate well). Mind you the scaling is a bit wonky (level 80 full ascended in start zones does pretty much one shot everything…), but the idea is there.
As for new levels and gear. Well that’s called vertical progression. GW2 is looking to implement horizontal progression with the mastery system. So instead of getting more levels, you’ll be able to get new abilities and skills.
you have have = gear and stats as everyone else which to me there is no point because that’s the ultimate goal in MMO’s
We can probably argue the point, but there is nothing inherent about MMOs that require it to be a stat race. Now maybe for MMORPGs we could argue that, but then RPGs (going back to the tabletop days) doesn’t inherently have to be stat and gear focused either.
Sure a sense of progression is useful and important on MMOs, but simply having better stats then the next person isn’t always the way to go.
We could also talk about skill vs gear, but that’s another topic.
We will not stay the same, we will evolve. Elite specializations give variety and a weapon new to that class though not new to the whole game.
Everyone has the chance for the stats. If you want to be a god, get very good at using what you got. There are some amazing people that solo content people like me muddle through with the help of four others.
And you can just ignore jumping puzzles. Though if you don’t, you will get better and they won’t be quite that awful anymore. Some people absolutely love them, they deserve something they like in the game too.

This.
It’s not (well maybe… world completion needs a couple of JPs) mandatory content, and some people love it.
If you don’t know how to be a god in gw2 then you are doing it wrong.

I think there’s only The Breached Wall (Diessa Plateau) and Vizier’s Tower (Straits of Devastation) that I can think of where you need to do a Jumping Puzzle to get to areas for Map Completion.

Also in Dredgehaunt Cliffs, the Tribulation Rift.
The vista in the Eternal Battlegrounds where you have to jump to planks sticking out the side of a tower was another jumping puzzle that was required for map completion.
ANet may give it to you.

There are plenty of vistas that require jumping, but that doesn’t actually make them jumping puzzles. It’s a fine hair to split, maybe, but jumping puzzles are all listed in the jumping puzzle section of the achievements panel, and also have a reward chest associated with them, with two exceptions.
And since WvW is no longer included in map completion it’s a moot point anyway.
Now Im new to guild wars this guy says no new weapons no new lvl increase and the worst part is we will remain the same as a player meaning you will never become a GOD so to speak you have have = gear and stats as everyone else which to me there is no point because that’s the ultimate goal in MMO’s And even more so he says There is MORE jumping puzzles NOW THIS IS THE WORST THING ABOUT THIS GAME why add more :/
It’s really quite simple. If this is what a MMO should be to you, then GW2 is not your kind of game.
