I understand Anet is playing their cards pretty close to their chest with HOT. One they don’t want to promise something and fail to deliver and two they are releasing the information slowly to maintain interest in the community. While I understand these methods I wish they would at least give us a timeline on when we can expect to see the specifics.

I would like to clarify I’m not asking for what the specifics are nor am I asking for a release date. I’m simply suggesting/asking that Anet give the community an approximate timeline on when we can expect to see the specifics. We already know beta is roughly 6 weeks. That’s great; this is info I love to see.

Remember how they released the information for the feature packs. Well they had a page with dates of when they will discuss those specific features. I think they should do the same for HOT stuff. Make a page listing all the HOT features and the approx dates they plan on discussing those topics i.e. the specifics.

Anyone else agree with me or am I on my own with this?

It is rather likely that we have much (if not all) information before the beta on PAX East in 6 weeks I would say.

I don’t think we have all the specific information surrounding each highlighted feature in HoT before the beta. If this was the case then the beta would only show off the druid, the necromancer and few other things. I doubt that little will be playable in 6 weeks. At the same time they wont be showing every single feature.
