Undocumented Gilded Hollow Map Changes

As of at least one day ago, there were several undocumented changes to the Gilded Hollow map. I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere in the patch notes or the forums as to what was changed and why. Several cool explorable areas of the map have been closed off by newly added rocks or other various blocking objects.

My concern is that some of the areas, such as example one shown in the following screenshots: Imgur Album showing locations were available for placing decorations. It is unknown at this moment if those decorations were refunded (probably not), or if they are now just stuck behind an impassible wall. Without tools to remove decorations on the map you cannot see, this is a huge issue. I also do not understand what the point of blocking off these cool places for people to find is, when someone had to take the time to create them in the first place.

I am not looking for any revert to these changes, I am just looking for reasoning as to why these changes were made and information on what happened to the decorations that were placed in these locations. I can’t tell if they were refunded or not, because I do not know how many of each decoration my guild had before these changes.

They silently added an option to remove all decorations in the same update. It shows up on the decorations pane and by default is only visible to the guild leader.

Actually, I think it was a bug that opened access to areas before the required upgrades were obtained.

Lawl, “Hey, people are getting to use their Guild Walls.”

Wah? “Whoa, whoa, whoa, we better fix that quick!”

They made massive changes to the guild hall at least 2 times already. They seem to be doing these updates on a 2 weeks basis at the moment. The more notable changes are located at the top of the guild hall. They added an entire section with a big tree in it than remove the tree next update and added another big section elsewhere.

I lost a few decorations in those changes but since I litterally spent weeks to build my jumping puzzles, I’m not going to press that reset button anytime soon. It would be too much work.

Btw, if you want to visit the top of the guild hall and are confident in your jumping puzzle skills give me a call. I built 4 different puzzle already ranging from easy to nearly impossible. No one has been able to beat the hard one yet

Hardly possible…

You can reach any place in the guild hall with decoration which is a very good thing. It gives the opportunity for players to build all kind of amazing jumping puzzles and fancy places to explore. I like my hall open.

Sounds intriguing. I enjoy Troll’s Revenge so let me at ’em!
