Right from the get go the items in DS were overpriced (100 Ore for 1/6 runes? Jheeze) but at least we could farm for them.
As it is, DS is almost always empty and even when we can muster enough people to do it it’s a 50/50 attempt which means that these items are gated behind unreasonable prices.
I hate to be a whiner but yeah, just thought i’d give my two cent on the topic :P

Dragons stand is fine. You just need to be aware of how the meta event works. It cycles at set times, so you have to be present at the hours when groups will form for it. Outside of that window, its not doable to do DS, due to the time needed to complete a map.

Use one of the timer websites to keep track of the events, like.

Dragon Stand always starts 30 minutes past on every odd hour (server time).

Are you using LFG to find organized maps? Or just trying in whatever random map you end up in? The first always works; the latter almost never (since those interested in the meta event leave via taxi).

It’s a big problem here. At least they are being polite about completely dismissing your issue and telling you to be quiet.

How does that help farming 600 tokens when you get about 5 from each 2h event.

I always get 40+ from each DS run. The noxious pods are your main source of ore and you can farm the ones outside of the special areas at any time.

Wouldn’t mind if the prices were lower. DS is starting to get old. lol

Noxious Pods are the things to farm for Crystalline Ore, they usually drop 1 each time, I get >30 each DS.

My average crystalline ore take from 1 DS run is around 12-15 pieces. shrugs So, I get how it can feel like a slog.

I personally don’t see the harm in those runes being reduced to 50 ore each. That or scrapping them altogether for a recipe to craft them with that recipe costing 250 ore.

Something that would help maps is to break down level 80 content by zone in LFG.

By that I mean if you look at the Dungeons part, a drop down menu starts with each dungeon listed.

Do the exact same thing with level 80 content and it can be listed under Open World, just have a section for each zone.

> Silverwastes
> Verdant Brink
> Auric Basin
> Tangled Depths
> Dragon’s Stand.

This would eliminate a LOT of taxi’s and people could join the map they wanted. It would stand a greater chance of being underway as well.

I have been (only 5 currency of each map) but be aware that you can get ore in increments of 1, 3, 10, and 14 from the pods. Obviously there’s RNG involved as well. It is theoretically possible to get over 40 ore from 3 pods although that would be very very rare.
