If I buy now the standard edition of Gw2:HoT, can I still upgrade the game to Deluxe edition for 2400 gems? Or It’s an option for users who bought pre-purchase before patch?

You can upgrade to Deluxe from Standard, but not to Ultimate Edition

I am pretty sure the ability to upgrade from Standard HoT to Deluxe HoT will remain in the Gem Store after launch, just as the ability to upgrade Standard core game to Deluxe core game has remained in the Gem Store.

Hope anet looks at this. I plan to support my local retailer and they only offer the standard edition. I would like to then purchase from them and upgrade to deluxe if the pricing isnt way out and still comes down to $79.99 . IF we do not support retailers everything will go cloud they will close down. No more nice goodies I can add to my collectors shelf

The current cost to upgrade HoT from Standard to Deluxe is 2400 Gems.
