Is it possible to upgrade to the Deluxe Edition of HoT without using gems or buying a brand new serial code? Was just wondering because I would love to be able to do it, just spend the extra $25 and upgrade. Just haven’t been able to find a way to do it, and wasn’t sure as to whether or not it could be done.

If I remember correctly, you can buy an upgrade to Deluxe after the game comes out. But I think it’s real money only, so no gem or in-game gold options.

you can buy the update from standard HoT to HoT Deluxe Edition in Gem Store only for Gems( or Gold if you transfer them in gems) out now!

But there is no other way to upgrade it without gems out now! And i doubt they will offer another way of update!

Its the same wie gw2 core and deluxe. the only way to update was via gem store with gems!

Depending on when you pre-purchased HoT (and if you pre-purchased directly from ArenaNet), you may be able to get a refund for your Standard Edition and then pre-purchase a Deluxe Edition. May. I know some have been able to upgrade to Ultimate this way.
