I have heard that whoever bought the guild wars 2 classic pack can now upgrade to heart of thorns for free due to the fact that Hot has the normal package embeded in it. Is this true ?…How do you do that ?…On the website I can only see buy the game ?…Why should I buy the game 2 times when someone bought it just once ?

You must purchase Heart of Thorns in order to play Heart of Thorns content regardless of previous purchase of Guild Wars 2.

If you are actually trying to make a thinly veiled complaint about having to purchase Heart of Thorns, then I’m sorry you should be less subtle with your entitlement complaints.

No …I am just asking…So If I bought Guild Wars 2 from the launch day, I should buy Hearth Of Thorns regardless of my purchase ? I should pay another core + expansion ?..

Just trying to clarify, I played this game for just one month, I wanted to try the new expansion so I could see If i will play it again…but If i have to buy it I won’t do that…

By “classic pack” are you refering to the core game that came out a little over three years ago? If so, this was discussed ad nauseum months ago. We’re on a different rampage now because HOTM is hard, a grind, and is “different”.

Last week, it was all cupcakes and rainbows. Now it’s just stale pastries and rain.

The price is for HoT expansion. They included the core game for those that did not have it.

So basicly, If I bought it 3 years ago, I should buy the expansion right now. Because I won’t get the upgrade. But those who get the expansion get the core pack ?…Well sounds overkill but meh, I played this game a little over a month from the realese….I can finally trow it at the garbage.

Yes, due to the fact the core game went F2P over a month ago. With the current DL streaming system, you’ll only download the expansion if you already have the core game.

So can I or I cannot download the expansion using the core game without buying it ?…The user above is kind of…how can I say it ambiguous.
