Title says everything … i do not want another Flesh Golem
For example in the Uncategorized Fractal it has to be possible to command It to “jump-teleport” from platform to platform – else it would be rendered fairly useless.
And in general – when we jump down a cliff/ off of something elevated, we should be able to command the tablet down to us – regardless of LoS/valid path
Any thoughts on this?

Or you could just, you know, re-summon it?
Isn’t kind of the point of the tablet that you need to think about placement and such? Making it follow you everywhere wouldn’t really work at all with that point.

As far as i understood, in order to re-summon it, it has to be destroyed.
Since it won’t de-spawn on its own (as long as it it within a range of 1500),
and the only way to do that is to use your elite —> 50 energy,
I do not think this would be a considerable option (60e only to move it one or two platforms).
Though through a “re-summon after swapping legends” you could get a little bit use of it.
But still – you limit yourself to 10s of stationary Tablet every 20s.
And that feels kind of limiting… (since – when equipped – it represents 1/2 of our available utility)
Maybe it is just me – and this won’t be an issue

Don’t forget Dark Path has the same issue, a random blade of grass is enough to stop it.
So yeah ANet needs to look at how they’re calculating those paths.

Ranger pets have the same issue. AoE kills them though and they’ve never addressed things like the Mai Trin fractal fight where there are zero enemies to kill but the whole floor is on fire. Instant death for pets and they never even accounted for it in their design. After the gaffe was brought to their attention they still ignored it.
So instead of giving Rangers the ability to permanently stow the pet, they give Guardian a longbow and traps and call it a day.

This is sort of why I wish the destroy elite didn’t cost so much, or that the tablet healed in a bigger area but teleported instead of being dragged. I’m afraid with the amount of terrain in this game, it’s just going to end up feeling clunky to play.
If the path is invalid the first skill should act like a “tp” with a delay (maybe 2-3 secons) I would say.
Well, anet needs to look at their pathing, because right now a simple bump throws an “Invalid Path” Message and puts the skill on CD while doing nothing…
So yea, a TP would be nice..

Maybe at this time they should reconsider pathing for a lot of things. I know fractal players get use out of teleports like infiltrator’s arrow, but if you don’t do many fractals they seem kind of useless, and contribute little to dungeons or PVP.
The pathing problems are supposedly so we can’t cheat on jump puzzles?! But engineers, can cheat on jump puzzles. Seems a little silly that infiltrator’s arrow has to have less utility than jump shot considering jump shot also does hella damage.
Teleports should have better pathing, like they should behave like you can kitchen teleport!
And infiltrator’s arrows and other teleports should also be leap finishers, IMO.
