Had this happen today, Faren bugged out, still made T4 at night and got the Blade chest. but I did see in map chat , that they had already don’t Faren once.

So what is the requirements for the blade chest anyway. Someone had told me either complete all the day events, or beat all the night bosses. Is that correct?

You need to reach tier 4 during the night, with reasonable personal participation. I believe at 200% personal participation the box is guaranteed, with less it is not. Latter fact I have not checked personally.

It is really quite easy even on a semi-organized map. Before choppers land you need at least t2, preferably half way through t2. Past that, kill all night bosses. I have seen a t4 with one boss still up, but that map had exceptional defenses + champ clearing before chopper landing.

To get the T4 map and the Bladed coat box you have to make sure all 5 bosses die (worth about 1,5 tier bar). This also means that during the 3 defense phases at the camps you need to make sure most of them succeed. If by defense 2 you aren’t on tier 2 it means your map is behind on progress and needs to make up for it by defending more camps or completing more champion events/supply escorts etc. If you have all that sorted out, managed to get to Tier 4 then you will have to make sure you have at least 100% participation and simply wait till the night ends. I’ve always had 200% participation when I tried T4’s and when I did I got the coat box all 4 times. Daytime doesn’t affect the night events much, if at all from what I have noticed.

I’ve still only seen T4 Verdant Brink night twice in the last 3 weeks despite having spent more time in VB than in any of the other 3 maps combined. I’ve talked to people that have still never seen it even though they’ve parked their characters there, hoping to get one.

Some people claim they get VB T4 night every single time.

I don’t really understand this discrepancy, but for those of us that almost never see it succeed, it gets to be very old, very fast.

It is almost one month since HoT and I still didn’t get Tier 4 night. I tried like 50 times. I hate people.

For anyone wanting a T4 map (Night) they need to be sure to arrive to Verdant Brink several minutes early and taxi into a map doing T4. Then use the end of day to organize and get ready. If most players on the map are participating in getting T4 it is pretty easy.

A big thing some players don’t realize is that losing a few Rally Points doesn’t fail your T4 attempt. You can go back and reclaim them. Also if after the 5 bosses are killed and you still aren’t T4, you can still run supply, run escorts, and kill champ events to add to the Tier bar. Never give up until the timer hits zero! I’ve seen the Security Bar read level 3 still and the map ticked to Tier 4. I’ve seen the bosses killed and still have another half a tier to grind out and we still made it. Even a semi-chaotic map can get Tier 4 with a little extra oomph from a few dedicated players.

Usually there is like 5 dedicated players on the server, one who is trying to organise others – me, 20 AFKers, 30 clueless, 94 sheep people

Try doing it without the 94 “sheep” people….

100% guarantees the box. Less than that and your RNG chance to get the box is based on your participation. I’ve only personally been around for night T4s, but I’m told that doing a full day T4 doesn’t grant the box, it just makes it easier to pull off a night T4.

I’ve done several T4 days with 200% participation and received no box.

I’ve done 2 T4 nights with 200% participation and received a chest box both times.

T4 days say that they give a Bladed box, but I’ve never seen one (and I’ve done more than a few T4 days now at 200%).

T4 nights really aren’t that hard to organise – you just want the entire map spread out amongst the camps with no more than five people per camp. If they spread out that way, you’ll push into T2 very easily and you automatically have a good spread of people to beat each of the canopy bosses.

If you are having a hard time finding a map, make sure you are early. Each time I did one I was already taxi-ing people from the very start of the Day cycle. If you don’t have that much time you should still at least come 20 minutes early so you can taxi in enough people. I’ve seen people trying to organize it 5 minutes before nighttime, it’s very hard to get a map full and organized in that time. Just waiting in a map hoping it will be T4 isn’t very likely to get you into one. The LFG tool is your best friend for this.
