I agree, as do many others.
Another big example is Meta Event time, many people might not be interested in it, while those doing the Meta want as many numbers as possible. So they ask those not participating to join another map. If it were me, and I didn’t want to do the Meta, I still wouldn’t want to go to 0 participation by switching maps.

After all the bad exposure the Dev’s got about not posting here but using Reddit insted they moved on the the DARKNET now.
If a instance had a Map Closing once, but did not close since got filled up;
next time the same instance should get map closing it doesn’t it just closes instant.
This is actually a bug, and the mean reason why I now a days just volunteer.
I’m not trying to discuss the fact this participation system is bad for anyone how can play less then time for the next meta, and that this system actually does not make play what you like, but forces you to stay in a map for rewards. not to mention dcs
