With the kind of re-balancing and restructuring they have to do on current elite specs I doubt they will reveal new ones. And if they do I hope they are not elite specs created by any of the devs responsible for the current released ones, they have loads of work to finish on the old ones.

Norns got crappy short duration elite skills on a long cooldown.

A kit is something different, read the wiki:

“A weapon kit is a skill type that replaces the currently equipped weapon (and its skills) with a special weapon. Device kits can be equipped and stowed instantly, allowing characters to switch back to their original weapon. Kits scale damage based on the rarity of the player’s equipped weapon. "

They are making a lot of changes to the current elite specs based on the BWE feedback. Not sure if we’ll see a new elite spec this week or not. We are getting CGC next week, which will be huge, so I’m guessing something small this week.

Though if we do get a spec it will probably be druid imo.

Ranger is last my bet is on warrior if none it’s because they haven’t started on thief yet.

Warrior is my guess since a dev mentioned he was was working on it whilst and after any balance changes to the 4 currently revealed (well 5 now..)

that to me suggests they need to release the other ones asap. The longer they take to release the other ones, the less feedback they can incorporate. Do you really want the other 4 proffessions to be even less tested and iterated than these four?

If there is one dev per two professions then it shouldn’t be a problem. But if the same dev can’t balance 2 elites, how is he supposed to balance 3 or 4?

I think I’d like to see the thief come out next. Then warrior. Then ranger. And finally, engi. But that’s just me. As to which we’ll see next, maybe we’ll see ranger, since it was skipped in the order they seemed to have been going. I’m assuming it just wasn’t quite ready yet at the time, and ele simply was.

I’d lean toward Warrior’s spec. Maybe Druid, finally.
They’ve never been quite clear on Engineer, and Thief is fairly complete.

Whichever one is ready to be revealed.

really hope it’s ranger

My bet is no teaser today because they’ll announce the Challenge Group Content next week so they’ll post some thing like “Meet the ____” about the developing of the CGC.

My bet is Engi today, Ranger next week, and BWE2 with some of the CGC they show at PAX being announced the last day of August.

Even if I’m wrong about the timeframe, I’m 99% certain that at least one more epic spec, probably two, will be announced and playable for the next BWE.

I’m betting Warrior. They finish off the heavies and have already finished lights. This will give the mediums to have their own run of it.

I think they will keep warrior last since it’s a popular class and they will want to keep people coming back weekly for GW2 news for as long as possible. And I wouldn’t blame them for that even though it would suck for me since my main of warrior.

I think druid or engineer next. Then thief. Then warrior.

I would like to see the 3 year anniversary Gem store promos this Tuesday and not next.

Legendary stuff this week.

Agreed. We won’t get challenging group content, either, since they’re saving that to announce two Saturdays from now. Other than that, what’s left of substance for us to learn?

They could reveal a whole new system they hadn’t hinted at, or give us a look at the new guild interface, I suppose. But sans challenge or elites, it seems more likely to be an info-light week.

Woo! I’m happy they were just later than usual today. I did not want an info-light week

Though my warriors are my least played alts. They’d be even with my eles except I’m leveling an ele just now. Still … maybe the warrior elite will turn them into something I enjoy.

And looking at it more closely — that’s a torch made of animal heads. Balth hounds maybe?

Save the image to your computer. Start a post. Click the More Options at the bottom. Click the Browse button. Select the saved image. Hit reply (or Preview to make sure the image loaded). Voila.

They look like different animals to me. Wolf on the left, bear on front and lion on the right? Or something like that, they definitely look like different animals though.

With burning out of control right now, makes sense to give Warrior torch.

Interesting, we continue to be in order on the Professions page, having only skipped Ranger. This gives me some hope for Thief next week, though as that will be the week leading up to PAX Prime we might not get a profession elite at all.
