It was said on the livestream that you guys are trying to stay away from people saving their adrenaline.

This trait used to make a lot of sense when combined with the old adrenaline saving traits.
But now you will never properly get to use it because you are always using your adrenaline for damage boosts.

Adrenal Health
Regenerate Health based on Adrenaline Level

I suggest changing this to:
Gain health when adrenaline reaches a tier
or
Gain health when using a burst skill based on current adrenaline

That’s a good trait. It help you to don’t die quickly.
And that’s a minor trait, not a “good one”, you can’t pretend that it can be a very good trait like the trait’s that you can chose in adep, master or grandmaster.

Anyway, I think that’s a good mino trait.

Or Defensive builds should be using their F1 skills for defensive purposes…like the immobilize on sword, the stun on mace/hammer, etc. Especially since you gain no other defensive advantage from doing nothing with your adrenaline besides this mediocre trait (and to remind posters, the health gain from Adrenal Health only occurs every 3 seconds, not every second).

I agree with the OP, the trait needs to be looked at. I’d suggest perhaps a flat amount of HP gained per 3 sec while gaining adrenaline (i.e. your adrenaline isn’t full) and a small amount of healing for using your adrenaline (that gets higher with more adrenaline).

Your suggestions are good too, OP, just putting mine there.

So you’re saying defensive builds shouldn’t have adrenaline skills?
This trait just holds them back.

Typically you’re supposed to use that adrenaline skill whenever it’s ready and maxed out.
So this trait ends up doing nothing.

This trait was one of the big healing sources for tanky builds, when nobody used adrenaline. Now it does nothing.

The only reason to use it is when you get conditions and you are either fighting with HS on CD or when you are very low on health, also making t impossible to use you burst skill…

I just had an idea about how to spruce up this trait to be more active.

What if it worked the same way it currently does (i.e. gives you X amount of HP/3sec depending on your adrenaline) but when you use you get a +% Max HP boost and +% incoming healing boost depending on adrenaline for 10sec?

Something like stage 1 = +10% Max HP/ +5% incoming heal
stage 2 = +15% Max HP/ +10% incoming heal
stage 3 = +20% Max HP/ + 20% incoming heal

The idea being, if you’re not getting the straight healing over time, you can get a kind of layer of ablative armor that regenerates for a time. This + Rampage would synergize well as a defensive tool differently from how it synergizes with offensive tools (since it too increases vitality).

PS: I’d actually love that as a Master trait and swap it with Cull the Weak (which is rather lackluster of a trait for a Master slot).

PPS: lol I’d have to make a Strength/Defense guy with both Berserker’s Power, Physical Training and This trait idea just so I can rampage all day. Please think about this idea, devs!!!

Yes but they are encouraging people to use their burst skills.
They changed every trait to support that except this one.
You just don’t get to use your burst skill anymore if you want sustain. That’s silly.

Also, they’re planning to lower the healing on Healing Signet. The compensation is that the active heal on it will grant Resistance.

Yes. I would even take it as a grandmaster for balance and move “rousing resilience” to minor traits.

That way you decide between endure pain and healing.

So this would make up for the healing over time lost. I have used it a lot on glass condi warrior. It will make for a good addidtion, and in my case choosing between flurry and healing was a interesting one, you need to rebuild adrenaline before healing returns… It should be a interesting choice.
