So when you finish training a mastery there’s no real notification like when you level up. Does any xp I gain after this get used towards training a different line in the background? Could the same system when leveling normally be used to prevent “wasting” xp by making a notification in the bottom right?

The exp bar does a brightening animation when you first unlock the mastery, but I agree it’s easy to miss if you’re in the middle of a fight.

It will continue to glow a bit more white than usual until you unlock a mastery.

As far as I have seen you don’t lose the exp spill-over. If you got an entire extra level worth of exp maybe you would? I haven’t tested it but I feel like you wouldn’t lose it.

When I complete a mastery and unlock it with mastery points, I see the exp applied to the next mastery once I click to activate its training.

What if you have no interest at all in crafting, so no interest in unlocking the mastery?

It does not get wasted, it will continue to build up in the background(I’ve accidently filled up half a bar on a Mastery level because I forgot to unlock the previous one).

But be aware that the dump will occur as soon as you click on any of the mastery lines so don’t click randomly.
