What Revenant Legends can we hope for?

They already revealed two. And it has been said that it should be in the ballpark of other proff’s heal skills etc. So we’ll definitely get one more if not 2-3 more.
As anyone who has played GW they will know that there is a plethora of legends to chose from.
Personally I’m hoping for Togo from the bonus pack Tengu Accords. As some has suggested Shiro could be cool. Or Ilsundur Lord of fire. Zoldark the Unholy, the Lich and the list can go on. Anyone you want to see?
Well you should consider play styles.
Mallyx is offence – condition
Jalis is offence – defense
Both have some form of CC too (unyielding anguish/heavenly rune)
So while considering how many legends there could be and which ones these could be, you should consider the roles they can play because it will be pointless to have overlapping roles.
Shiro for example would probably be a fully offence legend. It’s very likely there will also be a legend which focuses on healing power (i’ll be evil and say Danika ;p )

Maybe I’m pessimistic, BUT consider this:
In the base game, all classes have 3 elite skills (+ racial elites) and there is no reason to give more than 3 elites to the Revenant. So as stated in the blogpost, every legend has a unique elite skill, this implies to me → THERE ARE ONLY 3 LEGENDS.
(The specialization may get others too…)
My logical point of view.
Why do we need another thread on the same thing? Especially since there are two that cover this on the first page of the HoT forum page (one with an almost identical name) this thread is incredibly redundant and cluttering the pages. See these…

What I think would be more logical is getting 3 different elites with slightly different effects depending on which legend you currently have active. For example, elite A deals 5000 damage if you have Jalis Ironhammer active but it instead applies bleeds equaling 7000 damage over time if you have Mallyx the Unyielding active. It’s still only one elite which does roughly the same thing, it just does it in a different way depending on your legend. It’s also worth noting that in the two action bar examples in the blog post the elite is the only icon that hasn’t changed despite the Revenant using a different legend.
Think of the Elementalist elite which makes you summon an elemental depending on your attunement. You have 4 different elementals which their own unique stats, attacks and effects. Meanwhile it’s just one elite.
Little more on-topic, I will actually be pretty sad if Pyre Fierceshot isn’t mentioned anywhere.

I want real characters from GW1, give me Gwen!

- If you add racial Elite skills, which a Revenant might not be able to slot, you’d get 6 legends.
- From healing skills you’d get 5 legends.
- From normal utility skills you’d get about 7 legends.
So 3 legends is very, very unlikely. I’d guess on 5 or 6.
I’m hoping that collecting legends will be like collecting pets on ranger.
Why wouldn’t the revenant be able to slot racial elites? That seems very unlikely.

That would be pretty cool.
Currently there are 3 Legends.
Look again. The one you have ?? on is just Mallyx on cooldown. That screenshot shows switching from Jalis to Mallyx.
Here’s what Anet has said about the number of legends:
ArenaNet promises more legends are coming — though it isn’t sure how many yet.
“More than two, less than a million,” Peters jokes. "If you look at the number of utility skills and heal skills and elite skills on other professions, you’ll get a ballpark idea of the number of legends.
“We aren’t sure yet, because we’re shipping the ones that we’re happy with. We’re announcing these ones right now because we’re super happy with them. There’s a bunch that we worked on and threw out. There’s some that we worked on, threw out and now we’ve come back to them. It’s hard to say the exact number right now.”

I would imagine we would get eight legends in total. Six for the base Reverent profession, and two more for the specialization. The two from the specialization would of course replace two of our base six.
This might result in more elite skills, but they’re elite skills tied to a set of profession heal and utility skills… think of it like the Reverent not coming with a thirty point SUPER ELITE but instead four more ten point elites than normal. Of course, that might mean that each Legend costs a minimum of fifteen skill points.
I also don’t expect to get much versatility with swapping out profession utilities. The reason that little arrow appears above the right hand side of the bar is probably to have the option to sub out a racial utility, heal, or elite skill… plus the two universal skills. I don’t know if they’ll be actually useful on the Reverent, but the same goes on the other professions: your mileage may vary.

I’m actually expecting quite a bit less. Specifically I expect 4 or 5 for the base profession and 1 for the specialization. With too high expectations comes the risk of disappointment.
I am hoping for Master Togo. His skills in the Bonus Mission Pack in GW1 were some of the best and most powerful in the game.
