I wonder what their water weapons will be.

Spear is almost a definite, since every martial class gets those. Assuming they do have weapon swaps, I’d say Trident is most likely as the second.

I’d imagine trident and spear, bring a half-melee half-magic class.

Pretty sure that’s a staff Rytlock smacked the mordrem with.

My vote’s on Trident and possibly the Spear as well.

If the spirit channeling is anything like Elementalist attunements or Engineering kits, then you likely won’t be able to weapon swap. Too many skills for one class. It’s why the Elementalist and Engineers can’t weapon swap. And why our on weapon swap skills activate on attunement switch or kit switch, respectively.

Nah, I am joking. I guess since he is using close combat and magic he gets the usual spear and staff combo

For me one thing is obvious. He wont have weapon swap. I vote for spear. Why? Again its obvious. Ele has trident, engi has harpoon..What is missing?

Does seem likely it will be spear, yeah. Guardian has ranged attacks on spear, so Revenant very well could have too in one or two of the legends.

It wouldn’t surprise me if, for quite a while in its development, everyone forgot that it needed underwater weapons. Considering that all the underwater content is slowly but surely being removed, it must have seemed like an unwanted surprise for one of the development team to be told “oh, by the way, it will need underwater skills”.

Due to this effect, I`m thinking it will have a lot of copy paste with some other classes underwater weapon choice and skill roster. Presumably the one that is the least messed up.
