Q:
Just curious since either there’s a thread based on false announcements (ie; HOT pre orders/ announcement date speculation) or people plain raging on “lack of content.”
What I’m currently doing:
•Doing GW2 dailies
•Catching up on FFXIV patches before that expack drops
•Waiting on the Wildstar beta announcement
•Grinding through The Witcher 2 (sorry Witcher 3, you’re gonna have to wait)
•Anime visual novels (because why TF not?!)
•Phantasy Star Online 2 (running off a tweaker)
So, what are you guys doing to occupy your time….well besides raging in a thread?

Well, I keep trying to play GW2, but my internet connection seems to have other thoughts. Sadly, I just can’t play the game with a 2500ms ping.
So, I’m playing a little bit of Might and Magic Heroes Online and doing lots of reading (of actual books).

I heard Wildstar is going F2P and that they fixed all the major issues. Might give that a try. Has improved combat over GW2 and much better designed dungeons/content.
If they fixed leveling, performance issues and crafting then that might be my new home since it doesn’t seem like Anet has any interest left in adding content for this game.

Actually I’m interested in that some people compared the dungeons and said that they far surpassed GW2 in terms of dungeons and difficulty.

Alt leveling and snatching up skill points before they become Hero Challenges. That way, I can’t complain about the upcoming trait change.
I’m grateful for the downtime, actually. I can go play other games and do other things outside of dailies. Because 3 generations of PlayStation games need my attention. >_>

currently honing my pvp skills and also grinding for ascended armor (need 2 pieces and have 60g so i’m almost done)
also my internet has been kinda bad so i’ve been playing a lot of singleplayer games. a lot of payday 2, specifically.
I’ve also been trying out other mmos just to get a feel for the market (gw2 is the only mmo i’ve seriously played) mostly Tera, vanilla WoW, SWToR, and Archeage.
I’m also starting to work on getting my drivers license so that’s taking a bit of my time as well.

Just and off-topic question. How much gold does now cost one ascended armor part?

Mostly levelling alts and exploring again. Occasionally a bit of GW1 hard mode for 40/50.
And Splatoon.
But mostly GW2. Plenty in game to chip away at, whether it is achievements or trying new professions or finishing a legendary. I’m actually tempted to try some spvp since people seem to think its less hostile than the dungeon community to less skilled players

I was doing spvp, but stonghold is zerker bs and no fun… and now the queues are so long… I’m just miserable.
So I think I’ll watch game of thrones.. or ya’know… go to work.

Personally I’m doing two things:
1) RP with my guild as usual!
2) Doing map completion with as many characters as I can ready for the switchover from Skill Points to Hero Points. I want at least one of each class with 100% map completion. Currently working on Elementalist, then I’ll only have Revenant to go.

for the armor i’m making (medium soldiers) about 50g per insignia, plus in between 15 and 40g for the other ingredients, plus 5g 3 laurels for the recipe.
so like, 70-100g a piece. not too bad.
Since I came back to the game a couple of months ago I have some catching up to do. I’m currently trying to get some weapon skins from Dry top and building an ascended materials surplus. I imagine Drytop and Silverwastes maps might take a hit at least right when the expansion hits.

Not much. Do the dailies. Maybe farm a little. Then I’m out. I’ve been playing Skyrim instead. I started 2 days ago and level 5 now. A whole new world to explore.

I’ve been doing this (minus Splatoon). And doing some Silverwastes when I can find an event map.

in terms of games:
mostly Pillars of Eternity….solid late 90’s-style/DnDish game…..plays so different than GW2 that it won’t train habits i’ll have to untrain.
every once ina while, DA: Inquisition….fills my “skyrim-itch”…plays oddly similarly to GW2
but also log in every day to GW2 to run thru all my alts parked at JPs and to advance the log-in rewards.

I have RP going. Three of my RP buddies came back to the game in the wake of HoT’s announcement, and we have new guildies joining for more RP, woot! I’ve been gathering skill challenges on my stable of alts, doing odd bits of SW, I helped someone film a machinima the other day.
I also read books, hang out on these forums, play solitaire, join friends for tabletop (Exalted and 5E), avoid housework, grudgingly do housework … I’m eagerly awaiting the PS changes so I can run alts through to see what’s changed there. I’d try Witcher 3 but I’ve read some things saying I can’t remap from WASD. Maybe I can configure a setting on my HEX to put that on my mouse; if HEX lets me set LMB/RMB together as “W” then maybe I can play that.
And every Thursday I greedily refresh the News page on this site until a blog appears

I run my guild. Hang out. Help people who need help with stuff. Today I was helping a newbie in low level zones and also helped a guildie finish the last chapter of the living story. Yesterday I did a fractal with some guildies and actually got the last fractal achievement I needed. Glad those are all done.
Oh and I’m watching a lot of WWE (because yeah lol).

I’m finishing my 2nd legendary. After that, I will probably just farm to save gold for HoT and do guild events which are a great way to spend time if your guild has a lot of imagination.

I decided to pick up ESO. Plaed the beta over a year ago and was not impressed, but they changed a lot, fixed most bugs and it is a pretty good game right now (and it is now buy to play). It isn’t as good as GW2, but more then enough to keep me busy and entertained.
I :
- sleep,
- eat,
- check reddit and fb to see if HoT is already out,
- watch GoT,
- do daily PvP,
“[…] and on and on it spins…”. Just waiting for HoT to break the wheel.

In GW2 :
- Doing the Dailies (mostly PvE, PvP when not engaged by the PvE ones)
- Playing around in the PvE maps (Both vanilla and DT/SW)
- Slowly working toward completing my light of Dwayna without using the TP (except for the recipe, of course)
- Earning as much Influence/Merit as possible for our (really) small guild.
Otherwise, I recently picked up Windward. That’s a pretty calming game, I’ll see if it will last.
And I’m losing hours and hours playing and preping TRPG games.

I haven’t been playing much GW2, except for the occasional log in for the reward.
I’ve been:
Playing WoW
Playing Swtor for its story, gameplay just isn’t as good as WoW.
playing HoTS. This is the first MOBA that I actually enjoy.
playing Diablo 3
I’ve been thinking about resubbing to Eve online now that I have a few hours a day available to play games, but I don’t really want to be subbed to 3 games at once.

Taking a break from games altogether to enjoy summer outdoor activites such as mountain biking, disc golf and ultimate frisbee league. Reading some books which I haven’t done in a while.
I do log in when I can to get the daily bonus. Once in a while I think about the legendary that I’ll never have… then I realize what it would take to get it and I’m unwilling.

Did the skill challenge grind to make sure all eight characters had 65 complete, and even went on to get a couple of them above 165. After that, got kinda tired of GW2, to the point where I don’t even log in daily for the daily reward.
Mostly working on my art and hitting the local trails on my bike, now.
Might even wait until HoT goes on sale before I buy it at this point.
