What do I do with extra Hero Points?

I was able to complete my Elite spec within the past month, and as a result I now have 33 extra HPs that I can’t do anything with. Are these meant to sit around, in the event that ANet creates more Elite specs for classes? Or is there something we are meant to do with the extra points right now?

Save them for the next elite spec. Probably won’t be until next expansion, so breathe easy.
