When it comes to Outfits, what’s some new themes you want for outfits?

Since Necromancers are getting Great sword, I would another heavy armor themed outfit. I have the current one. But would like a darker themed heavy armor outfit to wear on my Necro.

new armors or at least make us dye outfit like armor pieces instead of only 4

… Unless it’s Countess Anise’s outfit. That’s the only Outfit I would ever actually buy with real money, especially if the male version is the exact same as the female version. C’mon ArenaNet, let my male characters dress in drag.

id rather get armors. but that being said, an amazoness outfit (loincloth, bracers, etc) we are going to a jungle afterall

Yah, no, screw outfits. I want armors, and not those stupid separately sold pieces that are more than twice as expensive. Where you pay 22,50euro’s worth of gems for a set. That’s half of what I paid for the whole game.

I want exactly zero outfits in Heart of Thorns.

Then I want to go back in time and recover the man-hours that have already be WASTED on outfits and divert them into armor skins.

Outfits? How about armor sets instead.

I hope there will be tattoo armors from gw1 or at least tribal – for all armor types, I’d like to see my druid, elementalist and revenant as occultists.
I don’t like the fact, that only norns can look wild and shamanic.

Wasn’t tattoo armor in gw1 available to get ina Maguuma?

I agree whole heartedly…except the first part. I like muh outfits.

I’d love to see some armor cobbled together from artifacts and relics in the jungle, like we’re patching together what we can as we explore.

First of all I still want ANet to fix the Profane Greatcoat. On many of my chars the sleeves keep clipping through most of the gloves, even standard stuff like radiant.

Apart from that I’d love to see more light armor with plating, that’s what first peaked my interest in the profane armor.

Last but not least: Whatever armor pops up, please add in some female versions for asura and charr.

I’d like something similar to the recently released Arcanist Robe or whatever it was called. It’s amazing to have an actual -robe- on characters for a change, I just don’t think much of the leather armor attached to it. All I want is an actual -robe- that looks like a Mage’s Robe. Archmage even.

Some more sexy armor is always welcome.

I just want a flight jacket, to go with the aviator cap and goggles. It could link to the pact air fleet, right?

I want outfits like the Cook’s Outfit that have a special skin for each race (Cook’s Outfit might just be sylvari).

No, Cook’s is different for others. It’s glorious on a norn, for instance, and rather lab-coatish on an asura. I liked it more on sylvari when it was townclothes and I didn’t have to have a club hand, though.

outfits? None… none at all, not even a trace of them. I want skins, armor skins, pieces i can combine, dye and wear like i want. Keep these only 4 colour slots and shackles of creativity away from me as far as possible

I want outfits for HoT that I can earn in HoT, you know, because I am paying with cash for HoT. I would hate to download HoT only to find that the outfits for HoT were hidden behind a paywall on the gem shop. They wouldn’t be HoT outfits at that point. They’d be gem shop outfits.

I’d like some more simple, classic armor sets that pull from GW1.

A lot of the new armor designs are great on their own, but don’t always pair well with existing options due to the heavy theme elements like bug parts or floating rock parts.

I’d dig a simple jacket, some simple pants, a good looking light armor hood, some mage-style robe options.

I would like to see this set from GW 1 come out as an outfit.

I want actual female armours for female Asura. Even just to be able to wear the female versions of existing armour would be nice, but dresses… dresses would make me PURDY

No Gw1 armors or outfits please…it has been 250 freaking year since…can’t we just change how look a little bit…I mean we changed quite abit from 70, 80, 90, 00, 10…just saying.

If you think having 2 toes unprotected is dangerous, then you clearly haven’t seen female humans in battle.

Please no more outfits. Can’t we have new regular armor-skins that we can mix and match the way we want?

That being said: We’re in the middle of a jungle! I want a new Sylvari-themed armor set.

Exactly the reason why I changed my human warrior’s body type, made him skinnier – so he doesn’t look ridiculous is his shadow assassin outfit.

I know many people hate outfits, but I personally love them. I wish we could hide gloves, but meh.

I like not having to use transmutation charges. I wish the outfits we had were mire diverse, but they are what they are.

More steampunk medium armor for my engineer!!
And give me some cool steampunk hammers!!

That kind of outfit… all those great concepts should be put to use ( if we can’t have armor to do the same )

More sylvari/planty stuff, both for the sylvari (who look just plain unnatural in anything else) and for the new druids.

I… want the Tribal Armor. I didn’t get the chance to get it before it became unavailable in-game….

Heck yes give us tattoo and scar armors like the monks and necros had in Prophecies. That would be nice and could fit into the tribal theme. Hylek maybe.

Oh and make it armor sets, not outfits. Outfits are nice every now and then, I really love the Arctic Explorer one, but most of the others meh.

+1 for tattoos and scar patterns as actual armor sets, not outfits!

I can see why some people like outfits, so here’s a compromise:
release it as both, outfit and armor set!
Shouldn’t be too much work and everyone’s happy.

Right there! And enough with the heels. Also keep the holiday themed ones going. Like the way they’re only subtly about the holiday and mostly just look kitten.

Why are people railing against outfits here? This entire thread is specifically about outfits.
