Just curious, for those of you who have seen the 4 hour+ long stream, i haven’t got the time to sift through it to see if the information I require is in there somewhere.

Do we know what will happen to skill point scrolls? Will they grant hero points on a scale of 1:1? Or are they doing something different entirely? What’s happening to the skill points we’ve currently amassed on our characters?

It’s basically impossible to find these answers if you missed the livestream.

Hero points are gained by leveling from 1-80 and doing skill challenges. They are a limited resource and only used to unlock traits/skills. You’ll receive 400 points just from leveling to 80 and you’ll need another 65 points to be able to unlock all traits/skills, excluding the new elite specialization.

Skill points will be converted to a new currency and stored in the wallet. If you have 100 skill points pre-patch, they’ll be converted to 100 mystic stars (currently unnamed) post-patch. All mystic forge items that currently require skill points will use mystic stars instead. Basically, skills points are simply being renamed.

Skill point scrolls will basically stay as they are, but instead of giving you a skill point, they’ll give you a mystic star.

It’s obvious just from the blog article. Skill points are currently used as miyani currency, and for unlocking skills. Since unlocking skills is now covered by a different system, skill points are just becoming a new currency in the wallet that buys all the things they already buy.
