Guild Wars 2

I just upgraded to HoT today, and went to create a new character. I saw the Revenant in the professions screen. But its shaded out saying to upgrade to HoT to access it.

Am I supposed to be able to access it now, or is it locked until a closed beta happens and/or until HoT gets released?

Beta slots unlock during next beta then lock after its over. Revenant will be usable once HoT comes out. Though you can use revenant during the betas as a beta slot.*
