As the title says does Anet have a specific date in which they will start posting information or is it just the general in a few weeks?

It’s going to take some time before it’s released. The demo is in 6 weeks.

Beta event is apparently starting shortly after the playable demo at PAX East which is about 6 weeks away (March 6th) so details could possibly start releasing around that time.
