Guild Wars 2

While entering this post you probably thought “yet another hyped guy” but I actually have opposite worries. I dont want them to be asap, I want them to be released in a few months or later. Why is that? I just started my journey with raids and I find it really fun. I`m doing now 9 kills per week and I`m slowly getting my LI`s. And here my worries begins. If they intoduce armors in like 2 months, I won`t be able to get 150 LI`s in time. I`m worried of “Legendary armor” requirements in LFG and it would be terrible because I pug raids. So far I couldn`t find any guild to play with because most of them just teaching new guys how to raid and basicly we never killed a single boss. So how do you guys think? when will we get those?

“So now that you’ve had your first look at legendary armor, the big question I’m sure you’re all asking is, “When can I get it?”

Let’s be clear: what we’re previewing today is just the heavy armor. This has gone through many iterations and redesigns to get to a place where we think it’s ready to share with you. At the moment, the light and medium armor sets are not at that level. We remain hard at work, and release is still some months off."

Some months likely means more than two months.

Yes, it will be mean of folks to deny you a spot if you don’t have legendary armor day one (not sure why they would, ascended has stats just as good, but people can be jerks who think having the armor proves you have enough experience to be worth their precious time). No, the armor shouldn’t be held off longer to let those who just started catch up when some players have been working towards the armor since the day raids were released. There will always be new people just starting.

I have 0 LI’s myself, 0 boss kills (and only maybe 4 boss attempt sessions, all on VG). If I ever raid, it will be with friends or with a training guild, so they’ll know I’m not leading edge raid ability and they’ll still let me play with their toys. That’s more fun than Pugging anyway, imo You may want to check in Looking For or in the Raids forum to find guilds offering to teach, that’s how I did it for my attempts.
