Again, DS crashes.
Boss at 5%, massive server lag causes all the islands to melt at once and the event fails. One hour wasted for nothing.
Please fix things like this. Meta events that are on such an annoying timer and the need to keep oriented groups. Crashing, so many times now. It’s like you are watching us and laughing.

I think they are trying. I just think they have really bad coders. It’s shown in all the random model bugs, to this sort of thing. They hired inexperienced people. So this is what you get from that. :/

they are working on it but the real question, will anet get it satisfactory? lolol
i believe they have a fairly high turnover rate as many read about in their employment discussion for rating employers (don’t remember the thread name).
Thus, probably getting code worked on my multiple people in multiple steps trying to sort stuff out but…..who knows
Things that seem glaringly obvious to us may just be a drop in their daily bucket to them.
Not that I am defending ANET, just the coders, its a real clusterkitten to be sure.
I have done DS countless times since release and can only say I as well as many others have never had a disconnection problem. I had a map close one time and that was it. The islands disappear due to events failing one island at a time. For all the islands to disappear it would have had to lag for 15 mins or so. Are you sure you didn’t disconnect and reload into a failed map? The has been know to happen.
I’ve done DS every day this week, twice on some days, no disconnects. Not sure why some people are having problems, but obviously it’s not happening to everyone and therefore it’s hard to track down the actual problem.
I’m having disconnect problems in Auric Basin, more than on Dragon Stand. The 64 client I installed a month ago solved most issues, but the last week has been somewhat more disconnect-y than before.
Bigger complaints:
Tarir failing almost half a minute before indicated by the timer. Successfully completing Tarir defense to find the game doesn’t care about it and declares the whole map as failed anyway.
Baing unable to maintain the hardly earned participation when the game do disconnect.
Needing to beg for taxi every time, just to try DS long meta.
