Q:

I don’t have much of a problem with a bit of grinding to achieve something .But holy smokes I’ve only been able to find at most 4 Jungle plants per HoT area.According to accumulated data on the drop rate of less than 1% for Maguuma Lilies from one plant.that’s not just insane but cruel and unusual punishment. Taking the time to build a unique armor set is fine but I’d like to be able to do that preferably before I start to decompose.Come on folks you can kick the number of plants up a notch .

They’re in the jungle…

Auric Basin has the most. The green areas in Tangled Depths, NW quarter of Dragon’s Stand. It’s hard to get many lillies but if you gather everything else with the guild booster and sell the lot, you can have the money to buy the rest you need. Especially if you get lucky with Freshwater Pearl and Giant Mushroom Spore.

I’d quite like them to buff the droprate on Lillies because they make pretty nice guild hall decorations..

It’s not that helpful to your complaint, but there’s usually 1-2 jungle plants in the center of Tarir in AB. And I agree with Eulolia, I see the most jungle plants in AB.

I havent even found one single lilly… But around 20+ pearls and now 33 black diamonds and i have around 23 flax blossoms…

and I have the 20% gathering guildboost…

(some are in ogre village, those are usually easy to get. Another cluster is often in the SCAR area where the wreckage is)

You’d think that the jungle would be full of plants. Guess most of what’s there is made from plastic, astroturf and the like. Kinda like, what kinda idiot had the idea that chopping down saplings is a good one? Most normal people chop down mature trees and leave the sapling to then grow into mature trees before chopping those down. And speaking of trees, they’re all over the place, but I guess Tyria is having a tree shortage. And getting hard wood out of pine trees? Maybe Tyrian Pine trees make hard wood, who knows, but the nodes don’t say “Tyrian Pine Sapling…” I could keep going. :P

Heh .. I checked my TP history yesterday since I sold every one I got since HoT came out. Total of 5 lilies despite how much I play and I try to gather every Jungle Plant I run across. 5 in a year is a pretty bad rate even if I didn’t play as much as I did.

Yeah, me too! I had 4 in my bank since the HoT zones came out. I too gathered most jungle plants I came across.

Lol. And to once you have the hardwood from pine, the logic further continues in that you get one plank from 3 logs. Pretty sure normally it should be the other way around and you get a few planks out of one log xD

Bloodstone Fen has large numbers of plants you can farm. I’ve gained most of mine through there.

Jungle… Plants = Plants that are in the Jungle. BloodStoneFen also has a few along the mussels near the waterfall.

Yeah… best strategy: harvest everything, sell anything that isn’t a lily, purchase remainder on TP once you have enough gold. Thankfully flax and wood sell fairly well…
