I currently have the first four masteries in Itzel and Nuhoch Lore (as well as 2 Exalted).

Mastery points are getting harder to attain, so I want to make my next push give maximum value.

For those who have them, which do you find more valuable, Nuhoch Alchemy or Adrenal Mushrooms?

I know the shrooms are in all HoT zones, which seems nice, but the Chak acid is just nasty and it would be nice to mitigate it.

This will take me 20 mastery points and I’m only sitting on 5 right now, so there will be a pretty good gap between the two.

Thoughts?

Do you already have all of your Gliding masteries done? If not, I’d switch to Gliding to get as much of that done as possible with your Mastery Points. I’d also get the first tier of Exalted Lore done, too, just so you can easily enter areas blocked by Exalted artifacts.

If you already have as much gliding/exalted as you want unlocked and are just set on finishing off Nuhoch or Itzel, then I’d personally go for whichever one you think will benefit you more. If you spend a lot of time in TD fighting chak, then the Nuhoch one will be best for you, probably. If, however, you spend more time in the other zones (or if you ever plan to do raids), I’d go ahead and get the Itzel one because Adrenal Mushrooms can be very handy.

Get all your movement-based ones first. You’re good on froggy-masteries for now, and Exalted beyond removing the first borders is all you need.

Get to at least Advanced Gliding before you consider anything else. (Maybe Ley Line Gliding, but it’s not that tremendous for most of HoT.)

I find the Adrenal mushrooms much more useful. Alchemy was my very last unlock and while it’s nice to clear all the blue goop in one dodge, it’s not a huge game changer (at least not on my reaper, who wasn’t all that bothered by the goop in the first place). The mushrooms give a full recharge to all skills and during a longer fight such as in Hearts and Minds or against the lane bosses in DS they can really add to your output if you note their presence and use them at key moments when you have everything on long cooldown.

I’d complete Exalted before worrying about Alchemy, myself; it takes fewer points and if you want to make the Elite weapons you’ll need max Exalted so you can mine the collection item needed for each weapon.

All this assumes you’ve gotten Advanced Gliding. You won’t believe the difference it makes to be able to glide forever.

I’m very happy to have chosen Adrenal Mushrooms first, over Nuhoch Lore. (And I wish I had postponed the last two levels of Exalted Lore.)

Getting to renew all your skills is wonderfully useful in some fights, including story instances. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

If you have gotten Ley Line Gliding, then the next one you should grab is Adrenal Mushrooms. Chak acid is really only an issue in TD and even then its not that bad unless you seriously screw up, so put that on the back burner.

Sounds like Adrenal Mushrooms will be more useful than Alchemy in the short term.
