Well we were told that specializations would be revealed starting this week. We were also told that each week would be a dedicated full reveal. Today starts the week so which class do you think we will be revealed first?

My bet is on ele since they let the name and picture slip in the live stream. Druid is the other obvious choice since they already told us the name. Third most likely is Necro since we know their weapon. I find it unlikely it will be any of the other classes, though the devs really dislike necro so it probably won’t be them either.

I think its going to be Tempest (elementalist elite). They already said it wouldn’t be druid or the Revenant elite.

I agree with Mervil, eles are being used a lot as example so it is a safe bet to say Tempest might be the one shown in the next article.

PS: Tempest was one of my favorite Prestige Class in the D&D 3.5 ;D

I would imagine that the order in which they announced them in the live stream is not dissimilar to the order in which they will be announced in their weekly reveals. It’s a little bit of assumption, because they really don’t have to do this, but since Tempest does seem to be the first one, and elementalists went first, it’s some evidence.

Well we know it won’t be the druid first or whatever the Revenant spec is. They said that during the live stream. I’m thinking ele to start. I’m hoping to see mes soon though so I kinda want mes to go first.

The only PowerPoint was Engie. They also played the necro a bit to show off the new animation for Dhuumfire.

I suspect, like was also suggested, that the order will be similar to the order in which they talked about them in the livestream. Tempest first though seems fairly obvious.

Its in the order of how the professions were revealed before launch of the core game and elementalist was always first.

I agree that it’s like to be Tempest, since they let that one slip in the blogs and twitch.

I am hoping we get the blog tomorrow (“Tuesday News Day” as some call it), but wouldn’t be surprised if they pushed it out til Thursday.

Good. I was hoping it would be mesmer or necro. :P

Interestingly enough Mesmer was the last to be revealed before release.
I wonder if it is a coincidence or if they are doing it the other way around for the specializations. That would mean Mesmer followed by Engineer and then Thief.

I had this thought too.

Then ranger (which we know the name of) and ele (also now know the name of) come close to the end. Revenant could be slotted in and the very end, as it’s the ‘newbie’.

Ahh, I could only watch part of it in the beginning (at work) then had about an hour and a half before I rejoined it partially (which was when they had engi up), then couldn’t watch the rest, so I figured last ones were also all powerpoints. Gonna check tonight for twitch video, hopefully it can be rewatched.

I’m totally okay with this. Maybe it will give more insight into what the Mesmer will actually get and people will stop saying “lol a shield that’s it gg”
