Hello,

Now that I’ve finally finished unlocking all the elite specs, it’s time to take the next step in filling the specialization collections, which is to finish one of the HoT maps completely for each class.

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on which map would be the easiest. I’ve played all four maps and there are frustrating things about each of them.

Dragon’s Stand is by far the easiest if you have ley line gliding. You can go on a map that isn’t doing the event and do quite a bit. Once you hit all that is not on lockdown go to an event map, help a lane then do the HPs right after. If you want to complete it in 1 session make sure you do the footwork ahead of time and don’t spend too much time on pods.

Well, the thing is… Many places are locked behind Masteries, so it really depends on your Mastery level. For rookie characters, VB, most likely. If you have everything unlocked, yeah, I guess I agree with pontifico: DS.

I am just a few masteries and a small amount of experience from getting ley line gliding. That would make DS the choice? Are there a lot of places in DS to use ley line gliding? I only have noticed the ones in the dragon fight area.

Those are not really needed, just QoL. You can use the updrafts instead.

VB will be the quickest as there’s only three HP’s that have champs. You can do VB in about 30-45 minutes depending on how quickly you can get help with the HP’s.

DS is easy too but some areas may require poison mastery. It’ll take longer as you need to complete the meta to access all areas. You do not need ley-line gliding to do map completion in this map or any other map.

TD can be done in 45 min easily but requires a group as about half of the HP’s have champs.

AB can take about as long as DS as some POI’s are locked behind the meta. There’s also a lot of HP that have champs.

Do DS. I did DS on 9 characters.

I map-completed VB. It’s fun and somewhat easy, though I didn’t do it all in one go so can’t give a time estimate. I also have AB mostly done.
I’d do DS, but I don’t have ley-line gliding or the time/patience to do a bunch of metas.

I like VB for map complete too… even with the champ HPs, there’s usually other players willing to help during prime time.
