Well last week when I made this thread the answer was 100% ele, from over a dozen posters… we got Mesmer…

so what will it be this week?

My guess is they are doing the reverse of the release reveal order, which would make engineer next.

I hope they switch between armor types on each reveal. There’s three of every armor type now so makes sense.

Light – Medium – Heavy. My guess would be Engineer too.

But Engineer’s traits seemed to be the least finished ones in the Livestream, so I have some doubts. Maybe this doesn’t apply for the specialization.

My guess is Ranger.

My guess would be ranger as well, but let’s not leave Gaurdian completely out of it, since most of their skills are finished or tweaked. Necromancer would definetly have to be last since there are many things Devs have to change quite a bit before that reveal. So my guess currently is: Ranger, Guardian, Engineer, Warrior and then Necromancer.

I would guess Engineer or Ranger, they might be talking about the specializations seen in the HoT trailer first.

I would also guess Engineer or Ranger because we saw them in the HoT trailer.

Last week I was 100% sure it would be Elementalist (everyone was!) and got something unexpected…hope it’s the same this week and we get something like Thief or Guardian.

we won’t know, because its Anet and they love RNG, i won’t be surprise if their rng system roll mesmer again

I would love Engi to be this week, but since their traits are still not complete, I doubt the elite is either.
So next would be guard or ranger probably, if we go with a different AC. Will probably be ranger or ele though, since we already know the names.
We’ll know today or tomorrow, when they post the picture (like they did last week), then its onto speculating the spec name.

Necromancer
Ranger
Warrior
Engineer
Ele
Thief
Revenant

Mesmer was the last profession that was revealed before release, so I thought it could be the first one this time This would make the Elementalist specialisation the last one (of the Core classes) to be revealed… But well, who knows?

I could see this actually! Cannot wait no matter what it is though!

Mesmer, Necro and rangers are generally classes that (IMO) require most improvement. So I am voting ranger or necro.

Well, they said that the FIRST one wouldn’t be Druid, but they never said it wouldn’t be the second one.

Given that we know more about it that most of the others, I think it’s next. My second guess would be the one for warriors, because it’s the one we know the LEAST about, and that gives them a chance to surprise us with it before we figure any of it out.

Wrong. Seems to be guardian, if they are doing what they did for the mesmer. Picture first, stream, blog posts etc.

My guess would also be for Druid. The cat is already out of the bag on that one.

Edit: Just saw the Bow-Guardian image Tweet. So that’s our next one. :-)

That being said, I just saw the picture tweeted by A-net: it’s a guardian with a bow.

Too bad, my guess was wrong ^^. But Guardian will get Paragon Wings! Yay!

Guardian is my 2nd favorite class, can’t wait to see how the longbow will work.

Unfortunately, I think Engineer will be the last elete specialization that is shown. Based on the trait reveal video they put out a couple weeks ago: engineer is the least finished of all the classes. But that’s OK, they are saving the best for last I guess

I’m guessing we won’t get to see anything more about the Revenant until later…maybe they’re saving their specialization for last?

God I hope you are sooooo right with that, because it would basically increase significantly the chances of thieves getting actually their fitting longbows then over anet ruining the game by giving them rifles

It is almost assured that it is a longbow. In the WvW borderlands video people found a guardian using a pearl longbow (unlike aether/azureflame, the pearl bows have different models).

It was just only possible to see it being basically a bow only

There are two parts in the WvW video which show the same charr guardian with a bow. The pictures are somewhat blurry, but it is still fairly easy to see that he is using the pearl longbow (as opposed to the shortbow which is much thinner). If it is a new weapon, it must be a weapon that is incredibly similar.

Sorry, but as I said it is almost assured it is the longbow. Although it isn’t 100% confirmed, I feel like your want of thief to have a longbow is the reason why you are unwilling to accept that there is a good amount of evidence supporting guardians will get LB.

But hey, arguing isn’t going to do any good so just wait until Thursday and don’t get your hopes up.

The main perk of a shortbow is you can be a rainbow with bifrost and the dreamer and rainbow unicorn finisher. Only the druid will have this godly status it seems like though.
