The Revenant it’s not even playable.

I’m mad at necro changes (except Blood Magic). Still, probably not the worst of the changes, but necro was bad to begin with.

Out of joke, as someone who play all classes, for me the one that took the biggest hit is the guardian. I feel like it will be a challenge for me to achieve the same results with this new set of trait.

Revenant looks like a joke in comprasion to engineer, mesmer atm tbh. So much tr…talk about releasing op class that will be barely playable in pvp.

Outside of that rangers and necros got rekt. Warriors are forced even more into shoutbow whenever they like it or not.

You are only punished for using Plague, not the other elites. It’s more flavorful, I suppose, but this could make it even less desirable to take…especially with that trait. A 33% CD reduction is awesome, but at the expense of what additional condition? If it’s random and you give yourself chill or slow you’ll probably smash your face into the keyboard.

Not sure why Consume Condition has this change. If traited, you can wipe your conditions for a big heal but then get 10 Vulnerability and something else?

I honestly didn’t use either of these abilities much, but they just seem so…unappealing. I don’t like to hurt myself to help myself.

Maybe it won’t be random. What if it’s ability-specific (which it might be anyway). Say, if it applies 10 stacks of Vulnerability and X stacks of Poison, maybe it isn’t so bad. You just got your heal anyway, presumably after eating a whole bunch of conditions, and your heal will be back off CD faster.

This has yet to be seen though.

I made a comment here about simply having to look in the Necromancer section of the forums and it was deleted, can’t handle the truth Anet?

Necro got the shaft I think. Thieves got a couple of nudges I dont like, but Necro Consume Conditions is a kick in the nads.

I just dont know what they were thinking there, that skill is a staple in every single build. I could have seen it give poison more than vulnerability. The CD is a thing of taste, being they added more health in the Blood Magic lines, Im not so concerned about the CD. And making it poison instead of vulnerability would have balanced the blood magic line on power builds because well less heals. (as long as it gave the poison after the heal of the skill.)

If traited though, the random condition is even worse. As others have stated, just when you need a heal because youre getting hard focused, am I going to immob myself?

Also does it apply this random condition before or after the heal part. As if you poison yourself before the heal well…….. Less heals.

I also dont know the reason for the reduction in Lich time. As it can be pretty time consuming as it is to catch people at the right time limiting the number of skills you can use altogether. I have no idea why that needed a reduction in time, but this isnt the biggest concern.

Condi builds running plague stacking bleeding on themselves when their condi’s have 100% duration with no option to give it back while in Plague.

I could understand if there was some condi trasnfer to plague where you give foes around you all your conditions when leaving plague form.

The devs are probably scratching their heads thinking :“What did we do wrong? We helped necro right guys? They are just overreacting let them play with it and they will see the strong potential”.

3 more years to go.

I know Engie as a proff looks well right now… but Flamethrower and OOC permaswiftness were the most important pieces of my build…

I think they do ruined most of the non-typical builds for most of the proffessions.

You’d think all of this “Necro got shafted” stuff even from people who don’t main Necromancer would be somewhat of a wake up call…. They nerfed things that didn’t need nerfed, fixed very few of the class’s issues regardless of this being the best moment to finally fix them and made blood a little better, but based around an already losing fight rather than having high support throughout the fight. I can’t even imagine what they are thinking. Necro somehow managed to pull out a nerf in the biggest power creep patch the game has ever seen…

Give Necro some sort of mobility or defense, stop worrying about our offense for a bit. Make Death shroud not terribly designed. Help us move away from being #1 spam heroes… Fix our completely weakness to Moa with our elities and destroying all minions…

Since we can’t use and see how these changes all take effect, i am going to say, everything is good till then. all these numbers mean nothing till we can try it out in the new system, all together, and most likely tweak will follow if things are to bad.

Breaks the build I’ve enjoyed most since coming back to the game.

Anyway, on topic, necro got slapped repeatedly in the face. Probably won’t even be worth it to play anymore. Not only did necro get nerfed, but all the power creep will make them even worse than they are currently, which I didn’t think was even possible before this…

I swear they make it their business to nerf the classes I play most – ranger, necro, staff ele.

I’m not going to bother playing necro for a while. Never mind getting useful or meta builds… I don’t even think there’s any fun builds in there.
