I’ve been playing on Verdant Brink almost all day so far but I always feel like the map is never full. Is it because there are so many playing that a lot of overflows are created and I keep being put in one? Or are a lot of people leveling their revs or doing halloween events instead of HoT?

I would think that on launch day there would be tons of people and I’d always find a big zerg to follow and do events with. On that big survey on reddit, 80% of people said they preordered so where are these people?

Same thing here, it’s obvious that the megaserver system is faulty in the new zones.

It could be due to halloween event, being so many filled maps maybe your in an empty one, the maps are so large people are spread out way to much, we don’t fully know the meta event chains yet so aren’t all on one path

probably because the new zones are awful to navigate, so its hard to find people and events.

Same, somewhat empty zones. Lots o fail events (for the big meta zone events.)

Feels more like two or three months in, not launch day.

Same here, not even half a day after release the maps were kinda dead.

Empty zones on launch day do not bode well for the future….

There’s a portion leveling up Revenants or other characters the old fashion way and aren’t to Level 80 yet

There’s a portion ignoring events and going straight for the hero challenges

There’s a portion jumping from personal story mission to personal story mission and not spending too much time in the open world.

So? Its a big enough game there should still be more people lol

Yes its hard to find people to do events and hero challenges with. Who thought it was a good idea to have hero challenges as group events? Will be very hard to complete them in a few month.

Verdant Brink has a lot of people. Some of the other zones, especially the nooks and crannies, have few people there either because they don’t have the mastery to get there, or they haven’t found the path.

I’m sure they’ll fill out more in time.

I hate mazes. One of the reasons I’ve spent a grand total of an hour so far in HoT despite having all day off.

I remember the launch days in that other big MMO. Zones were teeming with players! I woulnd’t mind it that much but often enough in an event I’m facing legions of Mordrem alone and simply getting overrun. Some of the content is unplayable that way.

The Halloween events are far superior to the HoT events.

The vast majority of players are casuals – the fun factor with HoT is very low.

some of it is because its gated, not everone is on the same level. so for some things you either have tons of people ahead of or behind you.
