Just as the title says. This would be a much better way of rewarding devoted players with beta keys instead of giving it by sheer luck.

What if they only need 2000 testers and 5000 people have the geodes/crests needed? Does it become a land rush to be the first ones to the vendor?

It’s not about rewarding people. It’s about getting a random sample of players that have access to the Silverwastes and Dry Top. That’s why.

All players with level 80’s have acces to SW and DT?

Those players who just recently joined and created a lvl 80 should be aware of their presence atm.

Problem is, what if they only let 5k of them drop but only 1k (or less) of the people want to participate? If you sell them, then only those who want to do the beta would buy it. Just seems a weird way to bring beta people in.
