I doubt that this will get a red post (hopefully I’ll bite my tongue)
My guess is that we won’t get am official post to make more people watch the TwitchCon stream.
(and the other 8 elite specs maxed too)

Well the twitch con announcement says “First Look”
But that could mean first look of actual gameplay vs some screen shots / info.
I really want some info. This week is taking forever to go by.

I’m going to guess “no”.
All of the recently revealed elite specs have had a 3rd party preview as well as an Anet blog post prior to the official reveal. We’re already missing that (the 3rd party article, that is), so I’m assuming the “first look at Druid” mentioned about TwitchCon means literally that. They aren’t going to reveal anything about it until the presentation.
Well, we aren’t 100% missing the third party article. One or two of those came out on Thursdays along with the blog. So there’s still a chance for something fun to read tomorrow.
Though yeah, when they have a Twitch presence they likely want to have reasons to have people glued to the monitor.

We’re another day closer to Druid details!
I’m so excited, I can barely hold my oil.

This is anet handling ranger we’re talking about, the same people who’ve left it a broken mess for 3 years. I’d rant but the topic is too depressing already.
There is absolutely no evidence to support that it would.” -AnthonyOrdon

…Like all other elite specs got – detailing traits, skills etc? Or will we be made to wait one day longer till Friday?
option 2…..
Yep, looks like no blog today. Otoh they’ve set the Druid stuff fairly early in their lineup once they get started at 10 am pacific tomorrow, though oddly they haven’t given a time frame for each planned segment and of course the whole schedule is subject to change.
Anyway, it looks feasible for the Druid info to be streamed around the usual PoI time if not earlier.

Ele has been no less well handled, we’ve been stuck with the same basic builds for the past 3 years, and then along comes Tempest, which is aa carbon copy of D/D with a few new animations.

Ele has been in the meta for ages and is pretty much good at every game mode. You can’t compare ele to the state of rangers and necros. Yes, I feel bad that they didn’t give you the new playstyle you guys deserved. Still, ele is in a much better place.
As for the twitch presentation tomorrow…..either Anet is really super confident and will blow us away or druid is a mess and that’s the real reason we didn’t get a blog post today. I’m trying to be optimistic and hope it’s the former and not the latter.

How about because the Druid reveal is going to be a tiny foot note in the larger proclamation that the’ve now revealed all of the new specs, can show off the complete set of new class art as a single banner, and generally crow about how they’ve evolved the concept of multi-classing compared to other MMOs.
Look for the druid details on page 5.
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”
