Guild Wars 2

Will we need to unlock the Revenant class or can I play it right off the spot?

If we need to unlock it, will it be through a play it sort of way similar to death knights in WoW, or will it be an account unlock by one of our current characters?

Idk yet, im gonna look around on the game to see if i can find any info

I imagine the way Colin mentioned people new to the game being able to be on the same footing, it will be all ready to go at launch

Do you folks just not know yet or is there another reason why you won’t tell us anything at this point? Just curious, I assume you knew there was an expansion in the works for much longer than when the announcement came too, or was that still a case of, “we might scrap the expansion idea and then players would be angry if we had promised one already”?

I’m more interested if we will get a “free” character slot after purchasing the expansion..
I don’t want to spend another money for character slot just to be able to play the class I payed for…

This might not help but… With the first Guild Wars, if you had Prophecies and you purchased Factions or Night Fall then you received two character slots. Both Factions and Night Fall added two new professions so if they followed this then we would get an additional slot. The difference is that all three original GW games were stand alone and Heart of Thorns is an expansion.
