I didnt see any mention of that, but it seems like almost standard for any game’s expansion to increase the max level cap. will HoT not have that?

I’m so glad they said no to this. Looks like Mastery is the way they are expanding max levels. Heavily influenced by the WvW Mastery system I’d wager.

I honestly wanted another gear tier. It adds on a ton of time onto an expansions lifespan. So they removed the gear grind but did not put something equivalent into its place. No matter how you spin it, masteries (more talent points) is not nearly equivalent to new gear. As far as I can tell, this expansion seems to be about two to three months of content for your average player. That is extremely bad as it is an incredibly short amount of time.

Overall, extremely dissapointed with this reveal. There is far to much shiny with very little substance.

u can /rank [and a number u want 1-80 to have the finisher u wanna use]

example : /rank 60

for the shark finisher

It would have been really stupid to increase the level cap, I mean, seriously “so, I’m just going to double click 20 times on the tome to get my lvl 100, done! now, I need to rebuy ascended armor / trinkets / weapons!”

Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2 has NEVER been about gear grind and never will be. That’s how the majority of us like it. Adding new tiers is just an artificial and cheap way of “extending” the life of a game.

No new level cap and no new gear tier. To qoute Colin “A maxed out character today, will still be a maxed out character tomorrow”.

oh sry, thought u hate the dragon finisher when u use /rank command, i was just telling a way to use lower rank finishers w the /rank command.
