Sorry if this has been asked before or confirmed already.. to be coming or not (I missed that info)

but im curious as to if HoT is going to be adding any new Ranger pets..

Ranger was the first class I played in Gw2 (and in beta) and one of the biggest reasons for that was to collect pets which I found a lot of fun in doing

finding and taming pets is always a fun past time but once you have them all thats that..
Southsun Cove added the Reef Drake which was awesome but since then we have had nothing new..

with the HoT expansion adding a whole exotic jungle area to the game and tons of new races and species.. I think it would be a big disappointment if no new creatures to tame came with the expansion..

There are plenty of Dolphins out there. That would be easy enough for Anet.

This has never occurred to me… But I Want it!

In GW1 with the exp Eye of the north, there was a lot of tameable pets. It will be nice if there are new ones with this HOT

I hope its not just reskins of current pets. Just have a feeling of that <.<

will there be raccoons? :p

The current pets are so dull…..

Let’s be honest – all that specialization, heart of maguuma guild halls etc stuff is a nice smokescreen.

But the fact remains – wheather x-pac will be worth it’s price or not a kitten penny, is dependant solely on one thing:

Wheather our cyclopic collegues from a-net will tell us that they couldn’t get sharks with lasers cause of bit of redtape! And no, ill tempered sea bass are not an option!

If we get any pets im sure they will be similiar to pets we already have, and just serve as skins. But im fine with that, so long as i can get a Tiger!

I would like the ability change the f2 ability and the stats of my pet to fit with my gear choice rather than a new pet.

but I would like some more pets.

New pets would be great. I’ve played my Sylvari ranger since beta and I love him. I have all the pets excep the ones through HoM and I’m dying for more, some more than others.

Hopefully you can tame charr.

If there are new pets, please for the love of all that is good in this world….please let at least one of them be a DINOSAUR! My asura ranger has been terribly jealous of Kozzak ever since the beggining of his personal story! He’d love to have his own little Shreiksy to rip apart his enemies with. (;

Need bats. Preferably giant ones, but I’m not too picky.

Im actually thinking Dinosaurs would be prime candidates for pets

and I’ve been waiting for Skales and Raptor pets since Gw1..

we do need a upgrade to the pet system though..
the current tab works fine for the pets we have but if more are added then we’d need something else..

I was actually thinking a tab similar to the Minipet system would suffice for a while.. with other features such as picking favorites to place at the top of the list etc

Im also a little concerned about simply getting more reskins..
but in all honesty i’ll just be happy to have more companions to track down and tame

Skale are at least semi-sapient. They’re even more primitive than grawl, but have shown indications of having rudimentary culture, imagination, and capacity for abstract thought, so they’re probably just over the line of being sapient beings rather than animals.

Raptors, now… there’s not really any lore reason a ranger can’t learn to tame anything an ogre can tame, I think.

Ogres Tame Skales too I think or Charr
Skelks are another species tamed by Charr and yet Rangers can’t have them

i hope, that anet will add new pets

my wish is to have a lion

I hope they;

1) Fix current pets=remember name, allow non-juvenile sized pets, allow pet armour
2) Replace some of the current useless and boring pets

Bettles as pets, they can make many varieties of them.

Raptors and skales are also pretty fit in theme.

Must have Eagle Griffon and Ridgeback Skale!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!1111!1!!!!!!

Tiger will be in the Cantha expac.
Lion in the Elona expac.
We should see either one by 2020.

I like the wolf that appear during Jormag event. That looks beastly!
