Im not sure if this was asked before i couldnt find any info on this…

What happens to my gear if i take a full ascended set off my current char and put it on the beta char? will i still be able to to put that set back into the bank and use it later on my original char? or will my set become a ‘beta test’ thing and will get deleted if when beta chars get deleted? thnx

Right to get asc gear on beta char

This can only be done if you haven’t created any beta characters. Take all your armor of desired character and put it in the bank.

Then create the new beta character; this will cause a snap shot of your account at this point, ,you can access the gear from your bank tab equip it on the beta char and the gear will still be in your bank for your main character allowing you to put it back on

From what I understand your beta characters are playing with a full copy of everything so you cannot alter anything in your normal account. Try taking the gear out of the bank with the beta character and I bet your normal character will still see it there.

I think you had to put the ascended gear in the bank before the beta started. Beta copies your account but does not update with any bank changes after that.

Edit: When you enter the raid, there is a merchant selling ascended equipment boxes. The ascended items have selectable stats, so you don’t even need to bother taking equipment off your permanent characters.

Nothing from your main toons will be deleted no matter how it is used by a beta toon – gear, transmutations, mats etc. Everything the beta toon uses is merely a copy.

However, unless something changed with this BWE, you can’t remove your armour from your main chars, put it in the bank and have it available for beta. The game snapshotted the bank prior to the beta(s) and only what was in there at that time is usable. Nothing after.

There is a vendor in the raid instance that gives you ascended weapon/armor/accessories. Can’t get in now though because of squad ui bug .
