my wife was able to get into beta for a few moments this morning and make a character of the new class… the thing i am wondering is when it comes back up (at the scheduled time) will you be able to create and delete characters to test the new skills for each class or are you limted to one class for that beta slot for the test period.

the reason i ask is that she was afraid to delete the toon and make another for fear of losing the slot.

It seemed to work the same way as the stress test. You have one slot that you can use any profession, then delete it and make a new one with a different profession.

I deleted mine and the slot is still there.

Click on the slot. Then, look at the bottom right of your screen and click the create button.

I created a rev during the first stress test, found it too tricky to start with for a short burst so deleted and remade my ele. So yes, the slot remains active during the whole beta, so u can make/delete to your hearts content

Yea, the slot is still there if you delete it. I made a necro to check if elite specializations were available, they weren’t, so I deleted and made a revenant.

Which might simply mean that you were not invited to this one.

I guess. I just didn’t knew the beta were that limited. Kinda silly, glad didn’t spend hours grinding for a portal in that boring place.

I didn’t delete my Revenant from the stress test and the slot still vanished. An invite to one does not perpetuate to the next. (Though perhaps it should for those bugged out of today’s beta despite having portals).
