If I remember you don’t do the same damage in SPvP compared to PvE
Your understanding is incorrect.
Make up numbers.
No way it’s 60% dmg, get real.
My guess is if you previously had all your points in damage trait lines, you won’t see any increase.
Those who were spec’d defensively should get a small dps boost from the base stat increase
If you previously had no viable condition spec and you suddly get access access to huge vuln/burning burst capability you’ll see a significant dps increase ;-)

guardian meditation can go 60% with symbole dmg
mesmer can go 40% with power shatter and MW
Thiefs have multiple teleports also on weapon skills, multiple evades also on weapon skills and multiple stealth abilities also on weapon skills.
You’re not meant to brawl a Guardian or Warrior as a Thief, play the way your class was meant to by abusing your mobility, evades and stealth to dictate the fight and reset at your whim.
If you get caught out and locked down in melee you got outplayed, you can’t win every fight.

While the power creep is a fact, I wouldn’t expect every player to invest their extra trait points into raw damage output.
For example, as a Mediatation Guard player myself, I have no intention to invest in Zeal, not even when using a Greatsword.
as far as i understand almost every class get nice direct dmg buff between 30-60%
does it really needed as you can again thief 1 bs+hs or med guard combo in 2 sec down
etc…or anet will nerf it after 2 months of ppl QQ
2 classes is not ‘almost every’. In fact, only under VERY favourable conditions will Guardians get that damage increase and opponents aren’t known to make things easy in PVP.
