i am wondering if the elementalists will get a nurf in the spvp cause thay dominate all profesions too much utility defence and dps if the player knows 1 rotation he is basicly unkillable vs conditions he have 3 clears vs dmg he have shilds and if all goes wrong he got get out of jail card speed run like ostige 100km/h and of top of all he can burst all except heavy armors in 2 secounds i dont know if its just me but this must be changed

Getting pretty sick of ignorant people calling all elementalist overpowered. First of all, the exaggeration in the OP is ridiculous, and hardly anyone will want to take you seriously, even if they agree with you.

Secondly, there is one specific problem build: the cele arcane/water/X cantrip ele (with staff vs D/D variants). This build has extremely high sustain and boon uptime, while doing damage that is too high for how resilient it is. It is almost certain that this build will receive nerfs.

However, most OTHER elementalist builds are far less flexible and don’t come anywhere close to the OP meta build. It just so happens that the meta build is easy to play and therefore is seen far more often in SPVP.

The class suffers from a severe case of intra-class build imbalance, where the meta build is OP but the rest are average. So don’t lump all elementalists together.

What other builds? While yes, they are overpowered, the skills and traits that make up the arcane/water bunker build are also the only set of skills which actually work with the attunement class mechanic and do something about ther zero baseline survivability we are stuck with, same way its been for three freaking years.

allow me to paraphrase here: I have been owned by elementalists in spvp. As my skills are ultimate, there must be something wrong. Please make it impossible for people to beat me, it seems like an undeserving thing to do.

it was stated a few weeks ago by a dev that they are currently working on rebalancing some aspects of ele’s, they didnt give us any more info than that but at least we have been told that they are trying to work on it
